Totally clean, family oriented, hypnosis-like performances! I know this is not popular to say: but in stage shows most people are not in hypnosis (and I dare anyone to prove it is hypnosis), They are getting the chance to act out. There is a BIG difference between carrying out an idea suggested to you and being in a hypnotic trance! (Remember your mom and teachers used to say 'If Johnny told you to jump off a roof would you do that?') It's a matter of setting the scene... same as telling a few people at a dull party to put a lampshade on their heads. Some people will! It's audience participation improv... and that's the art! Though hypnosis is suggestion, just accepting suggestions is NOT a hypnotic trance! That's quite another thing.
