I'm a 23/F from Titusville, on the east coast of central Florida, about 10 miles from Kennedy Space Center. I've been interested in the 'paranormal' since I was a little kid, and have had several very odd experiences. I became interested in 'ghost hunting' in the fall of 2001. Capturing an ecto photo at a reputedly haunted local pub was the catalyst for my fascination with the paranormal investigative feild.

I am not a gullible person, and from all the years of study into this subject I've come to realize there are a lot of charlatans out there. Sometimes people do have good intentions, and think they have captured a seemingly unexplainable 'anomaly' on camera or audio, but don't make an effort to check out all possible logical explainations. On the other side of the issue, there are people who fancy themselves arch-skeptics, their minds are already made up that all the evidence is either an equipment glitch or outright fake before they even see it for themselves.

I approach this field as an honest skeptic, careful not to jump to conclusions but open to all possibilites. I conduct my investigations using the scientific method. I make sure to take control pics under the same conditions the anomalous pics are taken. Regarding EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), I am very strict about what I accept as a true anomaly. Digital technology, especially regarding cameras and audio, have made this kind of inquiry very pheasable.

If you want to read about some of my ideas and theories regarding what this anomalous phenomena might be, check out the articles I will be posting. I do not jump to the conclusion these anomalies are definitely 'ghosts' or even 'supernatural' phenomena, but I don't completely rule out this possibility.

I'm applying to Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL (oldest city in the U.S.) I plan on majoring in Psychology, and would like to make a career of research into understanding more about how the human brain works and altered states of conciousness, or possibly become a therapist. I would also like to do graduate work in sociology, humanities, or philosophy. In the meantime, I'm taking a correspondance Bachelor's Degree course in Parapsychology.

I'm a voracious reader and am into a wide range of genres, from high fantasy to non-fiction science. I also love the visual arts, design, poetry, classic literature, scifi, horror, studying the occult, quantum theory, writing opinionated political and social essays (I'm a Libertarian), graphic and web design, interior design, film, anime, cooking, and music. My favorite genres are synthpop, industrial, new wave, goth, punk, and alternative. I'm a Leo, but I'm skeptical of astrology. I have two tattoos on my back, here are the pics:
