7.5.10: mobi`safety/boondocking

wilderness dangers

00.10.8: wilds-proof cabin should be city-proof too

. going mobile can find you in the woods where forest fires and floods can surprise you;
packs of feral dogs can attack for food,
and mosquitoes can vector viruses;
best to have a box for a cabin rather than a tent
(expect most woods to be inaccessable, and it has to be parked on a street)

01.2.3: tics

. need more than a resting protection since tics -- which contact while traveling --
are a major vector of fevers that can cripple you with arthritis .
01.2.4:
one way to avoid bugs, is to make a mobile trailer that lets you sleep parked on the side of the road .
todo.ask police:
. is it legal to sleep in a trailer parked by the side of the road? 7.3.18:
can't be done in many cities, and county expects road-side parks to leave their parking lights on .

7.4.21: mobi`safety

. if leaving the valley, consider the risk of tornadoes might be greater .

2005.11.03: overview of legal issues

the boondocking question

. ask how cross-country cyclists legally camp,
since there can be more than a day`s ride between campgrounds

the address question:

. I'm a self-employed engineer designing a product,
and I need isolation to think, and will be going on a camping trip of indefinite length;
therefore I wanted to stop paying rent while camping
but how do I prove residence?
7.5.10:
. places accept a mailbox service address;
I call the mailbox my legal address, by declaring it on my state ID
. the ID issuers weren't happy about that in Spokane Wa.;
but it was possible, and I even got the city to send my voter registration there,
but only after I walked up in person, and explained I was friend-hopping
. every business is satisfied with any address that's on a current picture ID,
 however,  gov't charity operations are much more strict,
and I had to drop their subsidized health insurance
. they demand that you produce documents showing you rent or own a place
. I don't think they're trying to stop cheaters either;
they're simply trying to offer good welfare services without
every unemployed person in the country claiming this state as their residence .

paying for an email address:
. some businesses need an email to show proof of identity
hence your email provider cannot be one that allows anonymous signups
(the free ones are generally considered anonymous
because they don't try to authenticate your identity)
. with a virgin mobile cell phone used only for emergencies,
I pay just $5/mo and they provide a trusted email address
and 911 service as well .

the street-legal question

. what laws restrict pedal cars
ie, the design of enclosed trikes or bikes
and the use of trailers by pedal cars
including the carrying of LP gas ?
