7.5.8: mobi`backup/quadcycle
6.10.31:
ultralight trailer extension [mis]
. a trailer is good for the bulk of the weight
(that of providing a platform large eno' for a living space);
but adding bikes to the trailer like train cars
could substantially increase the capacity of both volume and weight,
. remove the front tires of 2 conventional bikes,
and then greease-strap their handlebars to the back of the trailer
. hinge a platform to the trailer edge that rests on the bikes .
6.11.1:
. for cargo over 25lb, the rear platfrom becomes complicated
since the 4 points ( bike seats and trailer corners)
are keeping neither level nor square .
7.3.18: walmart bikes
for quadcycle:
. my fear of idea"mobi#bike
& trailer was that the trailer weight
could too easily turn the bike over when something obstructed
just one side of the trailer and made it swing around
. if needing to redo the plans then
make a pedal quadcycle by attaching a bmx bike
on either side of a carriage
. strap a foot to the closest pedal on each bike;
the pedals might need to be bolted to a shared beam,
to help keep them in opposite phase
. the steering wheels would move together by a parallelogram linkage .
. this would be stable and could use a trailer ball in the usual way .
. the easiest way to propel it is the normal position: semi standing
. like the pedals, the steering`stems need one crosstie .
