Iran scheduled to become the next Nazi Germany... Can anyone verify the validity of this?

Iran's parliament passed a new law this week that would force the country's Jews, Christians and other religious minorities to wear color-coded ID badges.

Iranian expatriates confirmed reports the Iranian parliament, or majlis, has approved a law that would require non-Muslims to adhere to a dress code which mandates they wear "standard Islamic garments," according to Canada's National Post.

"There's no reason to believe they won't pass this," Hier told the Post. "It will certainly pass unless there's some sort of international outcry over this."

"Unless" there's some sort of international outcry? What are the odds that there isn't some sort of international outcry?...

In other news
, the face of the sky changed from one of considerable sunshine at 2:00p.m. to that of variable magnitudes of rain in the evening during the dance rehearsal. The big recital is tomorrow... I'm surprised at how little nervousness I now feel for it. No more chattering teeth or uncontrollable shaking... just a small tingle in the cheek. Change is good.

My PS2 won't play PS2 games. This is a rather unfortunate turn of events, and now that I think about it, I realize that stuff like this explains people's "bad faith" in Sony. I sorta want to send in my PS2 for repairs, but I'm afraid that Sony will just point at me and laugh at me in Al Bhed-ese. According to a Sony spokesman, "We [Sony] have built up a certain brand equity over time since the launch of PlayStation in 1995 and PS2 in 2000 that the first five million are going to buy it, whatever it is, even it didn't have games."

We'll see how the hubris treats you, Sony... we'll see. At the moment, their launch lineup is practically nil, while Wii sports Dragon Quest, Twilight Princess, Madden, Red Steel, Metroid Prime 3, and Trauma Center at launch... with the promise of SSB: Brawl in the ensuing quarter of a year. Nintendo certainly isn't letting up the gas.

Much fun, wot?
