The Daily Grind - 4/5/06

*long, deep, feminine sigh*

Life is so complex at times. Snow and rain fell fell from the skies today, the both. As they fell, chill air cooled me but did not freeze me. Barely did I get wet.

The time is now 7:05p.m., and I see the setting sun for the first time today. Irony and nature, fucking Romanticism. Shelley, please drown yourself in the sea of ice...

This, the turn of the season, is the sort of wonder that will forever elude me. It is a meme unto itself with its complexity.

I realized something today, thanks to a verbal prompt...

As sad and pathetic as my life is, it is so damn fulfilling. 24 is trivial, of course, but... as the hippies said, "Love is all that you need."

I have no particular wish to associate myself with said hippies, but even I might borrow some of their prose or poetry as the case may be, and really. 24 is all I need, and I mean that in the least marijuana-influenced way possible.

Ah, spring fever. Fill me from the crown to the toetop with the most instantly gratifying food and glory...

7:14p.m.

Back.
Home.
