Hmm. Math team was ... not good. 5/18. I got 6 points off for these mistakes.

0 + 1 + (-1 + rt5)/2 = (rt5)/2

4 - 191/120 = 279/120

Neither of those compares with Robert's epic mistake, though.

4 - 191/120 = 289/120
"Hmm, 289 is a perfect square."

Answer: 17

Nonetheless, our team came in second overall, falling only to fucking Lexington. And Patrick performed quite solidly, despite his protests otherwise. That kid is the man. It's his birthday. He deserves to do well.

In other news, term 3 ended today. Quick examination of classes...

Jane: Need that poetry paper back and need my grades on quizzes. Probably a B+.

Steege: Fucking 74 on JFK pulled my term average all the way down to an 88.

French: Eh... 92, maybe? Pretty good test average this term, plus the 2 points should make a pretty solid term.

AP Chem/BC Calc: Some kickbutt tests, but nothing that should bring me below an A.

...

Time to turn to the SATs...
