The Daily Grind - 3/30/06

What to say.

Will my schedule soon become tighter? Perhaps. My mom claimed that she registered me for Driver's Ed earlier today, eliminating my time on Tuesdays and Thursdays for FLBA and Steege Review Sessions.

When I came home, my mom triumphantly told me of her tale: She'd befriended a Cambodian Chinese woman, and she'd tooled on said Asian parent to sign me up for Driver's Ed. And then, upon receiving this intelligence, my sister informed my mother and me that the solicited woman had called, stating that my birthdate was a required component to registration.

Now I don't even know if I'm signed up for Driver's Ed at all. Whee.

In any case, today was the last Maddox review session. The topic of Reconstruction lasted surprisingly little time, making the experience somewhat more tolerable today. However, I can't say that I'll be too disappointed to quit these if I indeed get accepted for Driver's Ed this spring. Because no matter how you slice it, the review sessions are annoying as fuck.

Seventh period: The weather was beautiful today. Ate with white kids outside, far away from Gaughan. It's considerably more pleasurable to me than lunch while playing Spades, listening to Gaughan's excessively unoriginal, unamusing, unintelligent tone and diction.

To be honest, I don't really have that much to say about myself at the moment, which I realize is rather shocking. More important is this.

This week, teachers are plotting to kill an Asian junior's morale.
His test grades and ego have been targeted.
He is math genius Patrick Wu... and this is the longest week of his life.

Poor child. Do feel better, or the deterrent on your usual gusto will most surely put a dent into mine. Redeem yourself tomorrow. It's your birthday, mate!

God damn, I'm tired.
