The Daily Grind: 3/28/06

Despite my best intentions to prevent this occurrance, I am beginning to feel limited on my site again. Pathetic, I know, how "artsy" that sounds. I need my place to be inarticulate, uneloquent, coarse, plebeian.

Here, I present myself uncut and often. Maybe several times a day. I might make a vague attempt to keep writing quality somewhat decent on the normal part of the site... but here, it'll be all the random stuff that I feel like saying but don't want to put as a burden upon anyone.

MCAS. No Steege today or tomorrow. High class entertainment. Considering going home tomorrow second/third... I guess I shouldn't, but I sorta want to do something during that time.

NHS: Apparently there was some sort of thing that I didn't complete. Ugh... Now I need to go to an "appeals" board to get in?

FBLA meeting: Uh, what the hell? There are only five events... and apparently, I know nothing Accounting-related whatsoever...

Indian spades: Jesus. How fucking long can you make a game? Second period action resulted in bagging over in the first two rounds. After school, Max and Lijian took a solid hour to build a 450-point lead and win.

Started the anime "Monster." I guess I can see why some people adore it so much... to me, though, it's mostly just ugly art (a major turnoff in anime) and semi-interesting art. Music's pretty decent; show displays a certain degree of class. No memorable characters as of yet, save the guy who types uses finger motions as a mnemonic.

Class plays: I didn't get "callbacked." Guess I got turned down. A mild disappointment threatens to tinge me, but at the same time, I wonder if I really want to commit time with somewhat unsavory characters.

SAT I on Saturday, and I haven't studied at all. I really don't know why not...

OCRemix.org is what the internet is all about. DSL's true intent and purpose in existence is without doubt to supply to irritating bitches all over America a plethora of arrangements of video game music pieces. Their selection is lacking in some of my favorite pieces, but their excess of pieces I don't know more than compensates for this personal shortcoming. There is no experience quite like listening to Kirby music written in Chopin style.

24-high started Monday evening and continues until... Monday evening. I hope. The effects of withdrawal all vanished yesterday in a violent outpouring of adrenaline, emotion, and God knows what else in the knowledge that I was watching a new 24 episode.

That's what I've got at the moment.
