The other day I was standing on a tram minding my own business when it stopped to pick up passengers. When the doors closed, I saw an old lady with a cane waddling towards the tram, so, being the kind hearted person I am, I asked the tram driver to stop so that this poor old lady could hop on the tram.

As she walked on, she thanked me for stopping the tram for her. I felt good inside.

As the tram lurched forward, the old lady started talking to me about how much me stopping the tram meant to her, she said something about her grandchildren and how she was so glad to finally meet them that day. She also said that had she missed the tram, her ticket would have expired and that she could not afford another one.

I merely smiled and said, "You're quite welcome." The lady kept talking... She told me her grandchildren's name, the reason she hadn't seen them as of yet... The bitch just wouldn't shut up.

At the next tram stop, I pushed the button and she said "Nice talking to you". I responded "Nice talking to you too." Then I grabbed her cane, kicked her off the tram and went back to staring at the wall.

I figure I had done my good deed for that day, if it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have gotten onto the tram, therefore... I had every right to kick her off the tram, especially as she had mouthed off at me for helping her... stupid bitch. I guess I'm up one though, I got a cane out of all this... Karma actually works :)

old people now take taxi's.
