Welcome to the Un-Official Burnout 3 Website!

Tuesday, December 14th, 2004 - Just some quick features you can find in Burnout 3, there is some amazing online support, both on PS2 and Xbox. The online support boasts supporting 8 players at a time, but when you go to actually race, only 6 contestants are allowed in each event. But that's still plenty considering that there's hundreds of "traffic" cars in the race as well, though computer controlled. The online mode also supports voice chat, so players can talk to each other while playing. The game also has opther features such as unlockable cars, and using boosts that rocket your car over 200mph! Now when you're going 200mph, Burnout 3 adds some amazing blurring effects to give you a sense of insane speed, it is sort of like the effects of EA's other game, NFSU and NFSU:2. To back up this insane sense of speed feeling, Burnout 3 has a lightning fast framerate as well. But above all, and probably the most noticable aspect of Burnout 3, is the damage system. It contains some of the best crashes ever seen in a video game, period. Sparks will fly, glass will shatter, chunks of metal will be flung across the highway. It's crazy how much detail goes into these crashes.

Monday, December 13th, 2004 - Welcome, this is my Burnout 3 website I am making for my Grade 12 Media Arts class. I first started off trying to make a Need For Speed: Underground website, but my idea was rudely taken by Richard Martin. So I decided to make a fan site about the next best thing, Burnout 3. This is one of the funnest games I have ever played for the PS2, although it is available for the Xbox too it has amazing graphics, great sound, and sick crashes. As for the actual website, I just finished the design aspect of it today, and have implemented it into HTML using Dreamweaver. This home page is currently the only page I have functioning at the moment, but over the next few days everything should be up and running perfectly.
