WHO WE ARE
I am a 36 year old father of 4 and one on the way.
In 1986 I was 18 years old and on my way to an early life of marriage.
With no skill or training (and a drop-out from high school)I needed a job that would pay enough to support a growing family right away.
I started working for a German American who
was very "OLD SCHOOL" about how to pour concrete.
He was also very set on doing the job THE RIGHT WAY!
While I didnt like doing the work at the time, I had no idea I was learning a trade that would carry me through the rest of my life.
In 1991 my world changed a little when I learned my Boss had passed away and I was out of work with now 2 children.
With no other options I took a job with one of the largest residential concrete companies in north west Indiana and within two years I was running a flatwork crew.
I have been running that crew for over 10 years now and have loved it more than I could say, however on march 19 2001 I became a Christian and my life changed once again FOREVER.
To avoid spreading rumors or giving a bad rap to any companies out there I wont say where I have worked in the past, but I was being asked to do unethical things for the company at the expense of my fellow employees and you the costomer.
I went to my higher ups but it appeared to me that they were realy only interested in the dollar.
It is now my decision to start a company based on Christian values owned and operated by family members who share the same moral values I do.
Now the good news... YOU GET HIGHER QUALITY WORK FROM A COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT YOUR NEEDS AT A MORE REASONABLE PRICE!
When I was working for my 1st boss I learned how to DO THE JOB THE RIGHT WAY!
I later realized that most companies have learned how to "cut corners" and produce an "acceptable" product without any real care for the DETAILS that makes the job so much more enjoyable for you the homeowner.
I learned early on how to take pride in my work, and how to DO THE JOB THE RIGHT WAY, it is now my desire to return to that way of business and that way of life.
