40 years experience casting acrylic plastic (methyl methacrylate monomer), semi retired, now teaching. You will learn to make acrylic plastic. Will travel.

I will teach the manufacture of cast acrylic rods, blocks, tubes (virtually any diameter from 1/10 of an inch to 12 feet in diameter, wall thickness to 8 inches), sheets, sculptures, embedments, hollow five sided seamless and cementless casting (used for vacuum chambers and underwater cameras), special castings for the medical industry, laboratory and very specialized equipment for the medical field. Castings of any size or shape, special sheets for the bath tub and whirl tub industry (composite internal decorative designs), special castings for the bathroom.

I have been either a supplier and/or a consultant to: E I Dupont, the Atomic Energy Commission, the U. S. Navy, Bendix Aviation, as well as the largest plastic firms in the U. S. Other companies which are too numerous to mention, including some located in South America and China. All of the above castings can be manufactured in single or multicolored fashion. I have complete command of the raw material. I can teach you to make anything in the size or shape you want; clear, colored or multicolored. I will teach you to machine whatever you need. I am an expert precision machinist.

I have made special castings for the human heart and the human eye. I have developed a chemical process that produced the finest large diameter cast acrylic rods in the world. I used some of my skills to produce a very beautiful and unique line of acrylic furniture.

I can be reached by telephone or email and am flexible with reasonable rates. I would be delighted to work with you. Absolutely free consultation. Whatever you can put on paper, I can teach you how to make it with hands on training.
