Dagenham and Redbridge Supporters Team 2003/2004

Name: Brian Parish (13) App (7) Goals (6)
Position: Defender
Brian has won titles in Italy, Spain, Germany and England, but has decided to stop playing computer games, and play some proper football. Played in his first cup final in 1984, before most (if not all) of his team mates were born. Has been going to Dagenham regularly since 1998, and has been a season ticket holder since 2001.A veteran of Euro 96, Euro 2000 and the 2002 World Cup in Japan, Brian will be in Portugal this summer, in the years second most important tournament, after the Crawley 7's in May

Name: Daniel Campbell (8) App (8) Goals (22)
Position: Midfielder/Forward
Started out at EMH where he began he football career between the sticks this didn't last long following a incident with his nose ending up with a lot of blood. 100% D&R, likes to bottle the occasional challenge but can hit the target normally the bar in the clubhouse after the game. Thinks his Paul Scholes yet somehow I don't think "Scholesy" has dark hair and isn't defiantly 6ft4. Has a re-occurring back injury which could hamper his seasons activity. Danny is the manager of the team being one of the youngest managers in the business at 18.

Name: Robert Parish (10) App (7) Goals (11)
Position: Forward
Started with Colebrooke King George at the age of 14. Spent 4 years out of football before returning in 5-a-side football earlier this year with giants Valencia, from where he was signed by Daggers SC for a nominal fee. Played everywhere except in goal for Valencia, before becoming a bit-part player after taking up the managerial reins. Now playing as a Forward for the Daggers, which enables him to hang around by the opposition goal, helping to hide his lack of fitness. A good start to his Daggers career brought 2 goals, a few assists and the much coveted man of the match award.

Name: Mark Buckingham (14) App (8) Goals (7)
Position: Midfielder
Started out at the mighty Hornchurch United where he was used sparingly as a right-back before the Club folded. Unable to decide between numerous contract offers, he dropped out of the game only to reappear as the driving force between 5-a-side kings the Tremors. Gets annoyed by his own inability to run and usually ends up taking it out on someone else, and likes a good tackle. His talents are now a credit to the Daggers supporters team.

Name: Tom McGregor (7) App (4) Goals (6)
Position: Utility Player
Tom is an keen attacking player with a good eye for goal, but will play wherever the team may need him. Only began playing competitive football this season due to breaking his leg 3 times in 15 months when he was younger. Also plays for Hardy Athletic as well as the supporter's 5-a-side team. Tom got the team off of the ground and now reluctantly sits back and now sits back and lets Daniel Campbell and Brian Parish organise the team.

Name: Tim Weymouth (6) App (7) Goals (1)
Position: Defender
Started his Career at Jays boys F.C. Where the Manager saw his ability with his right foot (natural foot ) and played him left wing. He was then moved into the centre defence/right back role. His first experience of reduced numbers football came with jays where he finished second in there summer five a side competition a medal he holds in high regard! Was bought for the total of one wine gum and was unable to play in the first game due to agreeing personal terms. Another one of the team who loves the 50/50 ball.
Name: Shaun Conlon (16) App (6) Goals (2)
Position: Defender/Midfielder
Bio: Shaun was the first signing for the Daggers supporters team after the departure of Magoo. The club had to face fierce opposition in the race to sign him with Colchester United but was persuaded by the chance to play alongside Graham Hariss. Shaun hails from Colchester where he started out and is a "Roy Keane" type midfielder who always gives 100% and never pulls out of a 50/50 challenge. He can also be switched to the defence so is a handy player to have around.
Name: Graham Harriss (11) App (4) Goals (0)
Position: Midfielder
The veteran of the side started playing football ( well trying do avoid the dog s*** and pot holes) over the RAF field in elm park. Stopped playing
football when work started to intervene. But know resurrected his career because Danny said he wanted some height in the box. He will probably be known as the Di Canio of the side because he can play home & away games when
work allows but unlike Di Canio he will go past the Watford gap.

Name: Chris Dunn (22) App (2) Conceded (8)
Position: Goalkeeper
signed from the Berties Bassetts all stars team 4 a pack of allsorts has played everywhere but had finally found his position in goal can also be known as (flapper and klunk) after the some mistakes against Farnborough town (down to the bad pitch conditions) that's my excuse anyway. A very good shot stopper also has the crazy idea of he can play centre forward and wants to take the penalties.
Name: Ross Cattano (23) App (7) Conceded (20) Goals (1)
Position: Goalkeeper/Midfielder
Ross is the youngest of the Daggers side at the tender age of 15. He's a very good shot stopper signed for the Aztec academy after fellow keeper Chris Dunn was injured. He's making steady progress obviously isn't allowed to drink with his team mates after matches but likes the odd shandy, needs to cut down on the chips as well. One day he will learn that West Ham are in fact a hockey side and don't really play decent football.

Name: Karl Emsley (2) App (3) Goals (2)
Position: Utility Player

Joined the Daggers in early 2004, as a replacement for the departing Ross. An accomplished keeper at no level whatsoever, he can also play outfield anywhere in midfield.   A Spurs (don't start) and Daggers fan since he was about 10, he only recently started following the Daggers continuously, and at the tender age of 15, is hoping to work his way up the ranks.  A style guru with dangerously spiky hair (inspired by Danny’s lack of it), Karl is hoping to transfer his skill with style, to a skill with ball at feet and in hand, and is always willing to learn, be it by playing computer games, or by his own rare mistakes.

Name: Steve Wilson (1) App (3) Conceded (8)
Position: Goalkeeper

  Name: Magoo (3) App (6) Goals (0)
Position
: Defender

Magoo was signed on a free transfer, he started his football career at the age of 6 when he was signed by Arsenal but unfortunately he suffered a nasty injury which resulted in him being released after two months on their books. Magoo recovered from this injury 6 months later and didn't find his touch till he played in goal for the under 13 school team but this proved to be a step too far for young Magoo. By the age of 15 he decided he preferred watching the game instead of playing until he realised he could play centre half, now hes trying to sign for a premiership club bit of a big time hoper!
