This is currently my 11th year for the club.

Do you remember when and where you played your first game? If so, tell me about it.

It was in 1993, I was 11 years old playing for the under 12's team and I remember it was at Beaman Park in Earlwood. I think I scored 7 runs.

Why did you choose to play for ACC?

A couple of my good friends from primary school, Ben and Will, already played with ACC at the time and I guess you could say they recruited me. It's worked out great, especially with our home ground a one minute walk from where I live and it's the best ground in the competition.

What do you like most about playing cricket?

I also love the intensity involved in close matches, it's a very social game and it's also a good challenge every week. I love taking great catches too.

What is your best personal achievement playing cricket?

My highest score when batting is 70 and my best bowling figures are 5/43. I also regard being in the top 10 for appearances made playing for ACC as a great achievement.

What is your favourite memory/highlight from playing cricket?

Scoring my first 50 at Lees Park, winning games regularly in the junior leagues with my school friends, winning the grand final in seniors in 2002/03 and taking one of all the all time great catches at Croydon Park in the same season I think.

Do you think our team can win the grade this year? Why/Why not?

We definitely have the potential, losing Martin is a big hurdle but the way Sam and Jeremy are batting, if guys like myself, Con, Jack and Luke can make decent scores regularly and with our bowling attack, especially Kristian and Norm, we can win it for sure. But we have to start winning right now!
