This site was created to showcase my Stock Detective program. I originally started this program as an out of work programmer. I wanted to do something that I could show to perspective employers as an example of what I can do. What I came up with was so much more. I created a program that not only will chart the stock data of any stock in the US markets, but also include some of the most popular indicators used by expert financial analysts around the world.

Further, this program was written multi-threaded so that while the user studies the stocks of their choice, the Stock Detective goes out in search of Clues. It then returns a list of these Clues as potential stocks to go either long or short on. The user can simply click on one of the Clues, and the chart for that stock will appear along with the technical indicators of the user's choice.

The program is really easy to use. Simply type in the symbol of the stock you want to chart in the upper left edit box and either press enter or the 'Go' button. The stock will then be downloaded and charted. You can select for up to six different Exponential Moving Averages (Ema's), to select multiple Ema's, hold down shift or ctrl while making your selection. The technical indicators are in the lower left list box. Simply click on the one you want to see.
