Processclaims will not allow you to upload if you have PenPro open. Chances are you have PenPro open. Close ProcessClaims, close PenPro, re-open ProcessClaims and try again.
Your ProcessClaims account was probably set up incorrectly. Follow these instructions to fix the problem:
Locate where PenPro is installed:
1.) Go to your desktop (the screen that shows up when windows starts up with all the icons on it...). 2.) Right click your penpro shortcut. 3.) Left click properties. 4.) Click the shortcut tab. 5.) Make note of what it says directly right of 'target'. Which should read "C:\penpro\bin\penpro.exe audapnt.exe". You want to make note of everything BEFORE penpro.exe, In this case; "C:\penpro\bin".
Change estimating path in ProcessClaims:
6.) Open up ProcessClaims (go to www.processclaims.com). 7.) Login. 8.) Once the page has loaded left click "Admin" near the top of the screen. 9.) Put your mouse over "user". 10.) Left click "estimating interfaces". 11.) Once the page has loaded make sure that the "ADP PenPro" checkbox is checked AND nothing else is! Next type in the path you took note of earlier (most likely C:\penpro\bin) directly right of where it says ADP PenPro > Upload Estimates. Make sure it's typed in correctly and hit the 'update' button located near the bottom of the page.
Try uploading again, it should work.
One of three reasons could have caused this. The most simple of the three is the assignment is closed and you are not viewing closed claims. To fix this go back to the claim center (hit the claim center button located near the top left). Once the page has fully loaded check the check box titled as "include closed claims" located near the bottom left of the screen. Once the page has refreshed, go back to the upload screen (claims > estimate > upload estimate) and try again. If that doesn't work it could be the fact that it is there and your just not finding it. Try using the search function located near the top left titled as "search for claim number". If you still can't find it, the chances are that it was never assigned to you. Call your team leader and request the file to be assigned to you.
This is most likely due to the fact that you have too many estimates in ADP and/or it IS there and your just not finding it. Either way, a simple fix to this problem would be to save all of your old estimates in ADP to floppy disk. Click here to learn how to do that.
*NOTE* After archiving your estimates try locating your estimate again.
This is an error that is found in a few amount of systems that processclaims is yet to fix. A band-aid to the problem would be to turn off your picture preview (the vertical display of photos located on the right side of the upload screen). And here's how to do that:
Go to your User > estimating interfaces screen and uncheck the "show picture preview" checkbox:
1.) After loging into processclaims left click the "Admin" button near the top of the screen. 2.) Left click "user". 3.) Left click "estimating interfaces". 4.) After the page loads scroll down and uncheck the checkbox titled as "show picture preview". 5.) Hit the "update" button located near the bottom left.
This should fix your problem. If it does not, try closing all programs, restarting your computer and trying again.
This is most likely due to a penpro/processclaims file conflict. To cure this do the following:
Rename the "idapi32.dll" file located in either your "C:\penpro\bde\" folder or your "C:\program files\common files\bde\" folder to "idapi32.old":
1.) Left click your start button located on the bottom left of your screen. 2.) Left click "search". 3.) Left click "all files or folders" located on your left in blue lettering. 4.) In the top white box located on the left-hand side of the search screen type in "idapi32.dll". And hit the enter key on your keyboard. 5.) When the search is complete it should come up with two results. In the window you are in it will display two file's titled as "idapi32.dll", to the right of those file names are the directories they are in. Locate the file that is in your "C:\penpro\bde\" folder or your "C:\program files\common files\bde\" 7.) Right click that file (you must right click where it says "idapi32.dll" not where the directory is). 8.) Left click "rename" 9.) This will now highlight the text "idapi32.dll", from here begin to type "idapi32.old". 10.) Hit the enter key on your keyboard to finalize the renaming. *NOTE* MAKE SURE YOU RENAME THE IDAPI32.DLL FILE IN THE CORRECT FOLDER, IF YOU RENAME THE FILE IN YOUR "C:\WINNT\SYSTEM" FOLDER YOU WILL HAVE TO RE-INSTALL PENPRO!!
Try uploading again. *NOTE* If you had processclaims open when you did this, close it and re-open it.
