When attempting to move an image from the inbox (left) to the album (right) I get a message stating I must first save the image.  What do I do?

This is an error in an older version of ICImage.  To update your ICImage follow these instructions:

Close ICImage:

Close ICImage.

Download update:

Click here to download the latest version.  When it asks if you want to save or open, choose open.  When it is done downloading hit open.

Run update:

Then hit OK.  Then hit Unzip.  When it prompts you to overwrite, hit yes to all.  When it's done hit ok and close it.  Your ICImage is now the latest version and you should not have this problem anymore.

When uploading I get an error stating "Unable to connect to FTP site".  What do I do?

You usually see this error when our server is down.  My best recommendation would be to try again an hour later.  If by that time you still get the error, give your team leader a call and ask what's the status of our server.

During an upload the process stops and I am forced to crash out.  I keep trying but it does the same thing.  What do I do?

This is most likely due to your own internet connection.  Sometimes when a server is running really slow, it will establish a connection, begin to upload  and then time out after a while.  To fix this you need to call your internet service provider and ask if they are having any technical problems.  If they do, ask when it will be taken care of and try again then.  Also, call your SCA team leader and ask for the status of our server.  If it is down or busy, try back later.  If both SCA and your ISP say there is no problems, try turning your computer off for a minute, restart it, and try to upload again.

When I click the "load" button with a picture of a camera on it I get a message stating "File not found".  What do I do?

Close ICImage and hook up your photo source:

1.) Close ICImage.  2.) Hook up your photo source (exp. floppy disk, camera, card reader). 3.) Start ICImage.

Start ICImage and select photo source folder:

1.) Once the program has opened left click 'file' on the top left.  2.)  Left click 'preference'.  3.) The third option down in this window will be "photo source".  Left click the three little dots right of that.  4.) That will bring up a window titled as "ICMS Remote Photo Source".  From here you want to locate where your photos are.  EXAMPLE:  If they are on your floppy disk scroll up and double left click "A:\" OR if the photos are on your camera, scroll down and look for something like "E:\ OLYMPUS" or "F:\CANON" AND the same goes if they are on a card reader.  If a sub menu extends when you double click the folder, double click that as well (i.e. e:\olympus\DCIM100\).  Then hit OK  Then hit Save and try to import the photo's again.
