For over twenty years I ran my own businesses in technology development, creating eight companies and nearly thirty different products with my husband at the time. We experienced the roller-coaster ride with many highs and lows of being entrepreneurs in the high-tech industry with years of 80 hour plus workweeks. I decided to separate from my then-husband and business partner in November 2000 and have gone through a long, expensive, and difficult divorce. I gained a lot more experience than I ever could have imagined with the nine different attorneys I had assist me through the process.

In February 2003 I relocated to San Diego from Sacramento due to the unemployment and very strained economic climate there. This gave me a new fresh start and I knew at that point I wanted something different and started avidly looking for it. In the process I found Pre-Paid Legal Services and knew immediately it was perfect for me. As a single parent I was in need of creating an income stream with flexible hours and long-term potential growth.

Many of the things that had been very time and money intensive in my prior businesses were gone in the case of Pre-Paid Legal Services…no inventory, no accounting, no manufacturing and no advertising or co-lateral materials development! It was all done and waiting for me to step into it. Another wonderful bonus has been the great friendships and relationships I've been able to create by being part of the PPL family. Instead of being the lone person at the top, responsible for everything, I am part of a supportive team.

I have always felt that whatever I did needed to serve others and improve their lives. The services Pre-Paid Legal offers, allow me an opportunity to continue this mission in a very meaningful way. My extensive business background gives me a wonderful foundation to move forward with business-to-business sales for Pre-Paid Legal's Small Business and Group products. I'm here for the long run and am committed to building a strong team that can address both individual membership needs as well as the business market.
