well, prophylactics can be a contraceptive device, but i'm using it as an adjective, which means actions for defense
or preventing something. so prophylactic movement would be a protective movement. anyhow, this site actually
has nothing about any kind of prophylactic movement. sorry if you were mislead. the good news is that this
website is all about me; henry. and that's gotta more than makeup for your dissapointment. or not. either way,
read it...it's not that bad. for starters, here's my favorite quote in the whole wide world:

THE GUESTBOOK IS UP! i broke down and went with one of those freely-hosted guestbooks. yes, i'm lazy; sue me. i also removed
the compuscape link. if you want to see what my desktop looks like, just go to the pics section. other
than that, all i really need to do is do the pics thing that i said i'd do in the last update post and fix some of the broken
links from the links page (DUH!). also, i want to put some new links up there. for now, that's about it. SIGN THE GUESTBOOK!

the only time i ever update this thing is when i'm extremely bored, which ends up being around this time of the morning. i've
already seen a million websites and then i come up with the idea that maybe i should update my website. so today, i updated
the "pics" page. i have about 10 photos on there and they're all old (just read the pics page for an explanation). there's one
of my current desktop if you really care about that; the rest are just pictures of me with random people. i'm planning on
doing a few more things to the pics page, such as providing some descriptions for the pictures, getting actual thumbnails
instead of sizing the images in the "img" tag so that the page loads faster and then finally, getting the full-sized pics onto
a webpage that matches my color scheme and whatnot. other than that, there hasn't been anything else that i've updated. the
guestbook i've decided not to write myself, but rather, get it from some other hosting company (i'm lazy). that will probably
be one of the last things to get updated. oh yeah...i think i'm going to get rid of the "compuscape" link...i already have a
picture of my desktop in my pictures, so it really makes no sense to have a whole link and page for one picture. anyhow,

so, here i am...up late. i just got finished making up some pages to add content to those links i didn't have up eariler. now,
the "links", "words", "autofile" and "freefirewall" pages now work. it took so long, because i did everything from scratch.
well, kinda. it's all hand-typed, but i did copy and paste the table data while making some changes to some of the values so
it would fit the page format that i was looking for. it would be really cool if i could get some time to write up a guestbook
program or maybe just go get one on the web somewhere and customize it so it fits this motif i've got going on here. i'd feel
more accomplished if i made my own though. when i get some pictures developed and borrow my grandma's scanner, i'll scan some
pictures of myself and put them up on the link labeled "pics". for now, they're kinda old pictures, since i've got my head
shaved, so once that's all taken care of, i'll start on that. and, i'll get some snapshots of my computer when i have some
more time, and then, that should complete the links on my navigation table. for now, i shall smoke a cigarette, do nothing
and then eventually sleep. au revoir.

okay, this isn't much, but i wrote it from scratch, which means the html is
all original. i love the color scheme, because i'm such
a fan of blues and greys; i think they make a great contrast and complement each other well.
the first thing i want to do is get those links up and running; none of them work right now. fortunately, i have a template
that i made for this whole scheme. what i should have done was use css to do all my page formatting
for me so that if i wanted to make changes to the color scheme or anything like that, i could just
change one css page and not have to make sure i made changes to every single page by hand. but, as is
the case with most things, i end up taking the harder road. secondly, i'd like to embed my livejournal
into this site, but that seems to be something only paid members can do. fuck em. anyhow, i don't know
how much time i'll actually have, so i might not get any of this done anytime soon. i'm hungry now, so
i think i'll save this and go eat. later.
