A little politics
Just wanted to voice a few political natured opinions. For one, I want George W back in office for 4 more years. I am concerned about his decline in popularity. I am also concerned with Kerry's increased popularity.
Kerry may not be an incapable loser, but his views are too far removed from the general direction that the U.S. must continue to move. I feel that it would be very counter-productive to place Kerry in office. The changes that he would make would weaken National Security and would destabalize the middle-east. It would be a step backward. Regardless of whether you agree or disagree with the actions that the U.S. have taken in the past year, there is only ONE WAY out. We must finish what we have started. There cannot be any change in direction. The mission in Iraq and Afganistan must be completed. Regardless of international scrutiny or lack of popularity, there is only ONE logical course of action. We must continue to stabalize the middle-east (Iraq) and become MORE agressive in doing so. Not LESS agressive. John Kerry may be a capable leader, but not at this juncture of American history. We need continuity.
Any other action would be a mistake.

Name: Dana Shelly

Hey James...
just wandering around and found your 'blog'. Never heard of that before -- is that a sign of being electronically challenged? I was going to look at the family pics but forgot my password. Can you email that to me again?
Nothing happening around here, glad school is out, however, I have found that my brain is still trying to function at the rate that it was during class. I need to find something to fill the void spaces that are desperately trying to gain more knowledge. I find myself having trouble sitting still and basically walking on my own feet with nothing definite to do. Still chasing Jenna of course, and soon Julee will be out of school. That will help, but not sure if it will feed my need for more collective data in my brain! Can't wait to go to work in the land of adulthood! I am truly looking forward to that. I believe I will feel, strangely, needed, even though I am needed at home by my children. Is the grass always greener on the other side? Or is that just an old saying that makes you want to find out. I know women who would kill to be an at home Mom -- have it, live it and love it == but need more now. Maybe to keep my sanity, who knows?
Enough of my raving -- just wanted to say hello and see how this worked!
Take care and will talk to you soon -- come visit!
