IT was one of those 'terribly - hard - to - wake - up' mornings. I tried to wake up early in order to have breakfast etc, but I only got out of bed when John came for breakfast and knocked on my door. Oops!
I must be in a bad mood to be awaken, coz I was pretty grumpy! Look who's reading Cleo! 
I caught John reading my housemate's Cleo mag! Anyways, I used to read lots of that stuff, but now I don't have any time to, so never bought it anymore.
At work, I decided to try out my old "rotting away web cam" on my very shy colleagues.

I was reading on how to bomb Google. I don't really know what that means! Anyways, I tried to google for my own site today. I had down it last time, and lotsa Leonas turn up, some not so Nicey sites :O but I never get my site. But i finally found that Google had just crawled over my site, tho listed only on the 8th page....me on google Sigh, not much of an achievement, but better than nothing!
Today is Missions Emphasis week in KAOG. I did help a little with the music ministry booths, but was too tired to be there tonite...I'm feeling sO overworked! so many things to do LAH. So, I just decided to take a rest tonite...need more of it...

I have become so murtad after spending half a decade of my life in kajang I think :O But nothing beats home, ya sometimes I think Sarawakians are so patriotic about BEING a Sarawakian, maybe I'm just speaking for myself. I am guilty as usual for not updating my blogs as often as I would have liked. I remembered planning to redesign and move my site to someplace cooler as soon as John got streamyx running. Well, the broadband is up but I find myself running out of time everyday. I've got a presentation I got to prepare for in two weeks....haven't even written the paper...I just found out from my pastor that I'm supposed to be doing all publicity for the church and not just for the rally or certain events! So, had to get moving with the multimedia publiciities and stuff. MY church had started to look into using multimedia for announcements, which is really cool. Some of the leaders went to City Harvest Church and were totally blown away by their awesome announcements that they decided to implement it here. Of course, lack of experts in the field can be a huge problem. Well, my pastors are looking at me for answers, but I don't have much expertise to begin with. Coupled with lack of TIME!
Nevertheless, I manage to get some stuff done today. Plus something terrible happened as well, when a friend got involved in an accident. I do pray the ops goes well tomorrow.... :0 Like pastor said, thank God no injuries to his face, so he can remain handsome!

I realised I started this blog coz I wanted to remember the life of my cats :O Seems I haven't updated much on them. Surely my sis wished there were more pics. Recently I took their pics together again. They've grown so much. Elma is now a rebellious teenager, and she's starting to attract tom cats from the neighbourhood. 
As for myself, I would describe my life as a rollercoaster. Not so much that it's going up and down, but more of the speed. Many things are happening too quickly and I'm finding it hard to catch up. Work has been getting along better, but I find myself all stressed up by the end of the day. After attending the Purpose Driven Life seminar by Rick Warren today, I know I really need to start making some changes. I scored nearly all 1s and 2s on my self rating. Nevermind if you don't understand that... :P I need a lot of strength from Christ, my fav verse now is I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. It is just an extremely powerful verse especially in times of weakness and tiredness.

Every day is so busy!!! I'm slowly turning into a workaholic. I realise I don't have much rest time, or even quiet time for myself, now that's a bad sign. It was Sunday yesterday, went to church then it was work, work, work. Not that I'm really complaining at this moment, I'm just grateful that God provides all these customers. I got to know new people. There were these two Korean couples studying linguistics in UKM. They wanted to buy a CPU so they came to my office last week coz they knew Dan, my colleague, also their church mate. They weren't too satisfied with what my Boss could offer, so they left frowning. I decided to seize the opportunity and got together a quotation with Jon and passed it to Dan. So, now the sales are closed and we've made new friends. Fantastic. Of coz, the down side was we spent our Valentine's Day doing the installation at their place instead of celebrating or something.
Then, yesterday was a lot of running around, from Cheras to Country Heights to Subang in just a half a day. Phew! I met Bruce and Barbara, and their lovely girls, Hannah and Lisa. Bruce is a Brit while Barbara is Austrian, interesting couple...
I get to taste, according the Barbara, the best chocolate in the world, which is of coz from Germany. Well, work is fun!

I'd started working immediately after I came back from Kuching...just an admin clerk in some computer shop. The first day was extremely tiring. I had to check all the stock in the place and it took all day. I thought it was the end of my life coz they initially told me to check stock daily. Thank God it was not the case. After working for more than a week now, I had only checked stock twice. Learned lots of new stuff on accounts and documentation. Made some new friends, it's been ok after all....I just prayed that all these won't affect my studies in a bad way. I have so many things to prepare, a couple of conferences to write up for. Wow, can't believe the work load sometimes. There's gonna be an Inner Healing talk in church this Friday, check it out here. I can't wait for the church site to be completed. I'm already thinking of what to buy with the pay. :P

I'm kinda glad to get back to the fast life in Kajang :O but leaving my beloved Kuching is always a heavy hearted affair. I'm packing lots of foodies into my luggage this time, thinking of how I'd starve back there! BUt not really, just no great home cook food no more. Ah, another few months before my next trip back home. My mum keeps complaining that I come back less than people studying in the UK, but sometimes, just can't afford the flight. Once again, i'm really gonna miss my home sweet home!

I woke up yesterday morning to my mum talking about the water entering the house...yea flash flood hits again. So, there was all this water on the road! Thank GOd it didnt ruin anything in the house and had nearly all subsided. So, we went on out for breakfast, kolomee waiting ...braved the watery sights..my, there were a few cars submerged in water out on the streets! Didn't manage to get a pic of that...just the pic of the road outside my gates! Happy working to everyone!

I couldn't even wake up today, my dad had to wake me up. First thing I heard as I opened my eyes as, " My daughter that sleeps too much..." It was still really dark, had been raining the whole night and the morning as well..I didn't know Kuching had so much rain. Anyways, naturally I thought with such a comment it meant it's really late already. I was supposed to join my parents for breakfast and do some shopping with them. I looked around but no clock in the room. so I struggled to wake up and went looking for a clock, and hey it was only nine in the morn. Pretty early..
So it was a day of running around..first we went to this place far far away just to buy some ducks, then it was to the other end of the city to give some stuff to their friends. In return, the woman blessed us with some great big fish and prawns. Then only after that we stopped by some coffee shop for breakfast, Kuching's famous Kueh chap, a kind of noodle with all parts of the pork cooked in soya sauce soup. Sounds gross? Well, my old people happened to love it.
After that, it as off again to buy lamb meat, all these food for the open house on the first day! You can imagine the crowd.
So I rested much and managed to do some work for the web, at 7:30 I was on the prowl again. This time with an old friend, Amy. Amy had been my childhood friend, been classmates when we were just 7. In two more years, we would have known each other for two decades! WOw, talk about long term relationship. So, she's the only person I've met since I got back...she's taken me to some coffee place, and tonite we just went shopping around and then stopped by a Taiwan tea house. Lots of such places have been mushrooming around the town! It was a nice little cosy place, with cushions on the floor. So we made ourselves comfy, ordered something to bite and went on the chatter. Lots to catch up as I only see her once a year. It's amazing to me how after such a long time, we never fail to find stuff to talk about. I mut admit I had drifted away from some other long term friends once the thing in common back then just wasn't there anymore. With Amy, it was a little different. We never really had anything in common, but we can just talk about anything, from people to property management, to love issues. whatsoever....
I can't wait to meet up with more old friends later on chinese new year. Sometimes, we count on this short celebration to bring us all back together again. I wonder when we should have a proper reunion. Afterall it's been nearly ten years since we graduated from high school. How time flies.

I read in the papers this morning bout the Kajang mini bus accident that happened in UKM. Thank God nobody got killed in that! It wa reported that the driver lose control and swerved the bus into a big drain and it overturned. It must have been tragic for the 30 over students travelling in the bus at that time. Well, I know coz I used to take that bus to UKm or to Kajang, hhm, now I have to think twice. The article mentioned checking the driver for drugs or alcohol, but I believe that it not the case. After taking that bus many times before, I find that they are always reckless. They think they are in the F1 or something. Well, the company have quite a bad image for the folks staying here, but we do have many other choices for public transport.
Actually, I'm quite glad the accident happened coz now they are gonna bring the bus for checkup at PUSPAKOM, so maybe they'd find it's actually a lousy machine. Read more

Yesterday, a tragedy happened!!!! Yes, I was bitten by a kitten!!! Ok, so not exactly that tragic, but it was traumatic to me ok.. :p
I had just gone offline yesterday, then I heard loud meowing. I thought it came from outside, but it was so loud that I decided to check it out. Then, lo and behold, there was a black kitten in my bathroom.It was crying so I thought I should bring it down to its mum. But then it was sooo fierce, and growled and hissed at me! It was simply impossible to catch it, I got scratched all over. Well, I thought it's just a kitten, shouldn't be a prob, after all, I've got 2 others somewhere else. So, I just reached out to the little monster and it BIT ME! Ouch, blood was spurting out everywhere (a little exaggeration). Just a little hole, but boy, was it painful or wat! I got somebody to get rid of the wretched monster, and that nite I reluctantly had to pay a lump sum of $$ to get a jab. The doc kept asking if I need antibiotics for it, but I declined. You know what terrible stuff those are! So, tragic day eh...

I had been so bz lately. so, eventually, I am involved in the church website project afterall. Thanks to the persistence of David. So instead of doing it alone, I now have a partner in crime. Well, besides this web project, I find myself starting to serve in so many things all at once! I do not know what is happening, but many people suddenly want me to do lotsa things for church etc, even from other services....I feel like wanting to help all of them, but I believe I actually need to choose an area of focus...well, Nicky had just advised me on this, learning how to say NO. I might just have to turn some projects down for the sake of my studies and relationship with God.

It had been tradition for shalom house to have a bbq gathering every Christmas . This year it was done with sponsorship from church, so it was a church campus cell event. We invited the lads from youth, who all came hungry so the food finished so fast. By the time pastor arrived, nicky had to go by new food! Oh well, it was a great nite of fun, but Tabby and Elma was bullied by some kids so I heard! humph! Some of us were feeling too old to join in for games, so some just sat and talked while others played to their hearts' content.

wo, new year just a few days away ah. Life is not getting any less hectic for me! I'm currently rushing a multimedia presentation for New Year's Eve service, trying out on Director instead of Powerpoint all the time for church. Not even complete at this stage! GGRRR It's been fun but yet extremely hectic, I had been putting all my studies on hold, not so wise huh. Recently I find myself having to attend leadership seminars in church, but I'm not really a leader at all! Funny huh, not sure why I was there, nevertheless I learned lotsa things from my pastors. Then there were false hopes and stuff, when I thought I am to do the church website, but turns out they had other plans....maybe God too has other plans for me, I dunno, I'm just feeling a little down today...been so tired, body is aching, feeling sickish...all will be well by new year by the grace and mercy of GOd. That's what I hold on to and believe with all my heart.

This was the actual performance day on 21 Dec in church. My we all sang our best by the grace of God and I was really glad, coz lotsa people were touched and blessed by the presentation and even some requested that we sing again on Christmas day service! So tomorrow gotta sing again lo which is pretty cool, coz I really enjoy all these even tho it was hard work. In fact, Kaog is thinking of starting a choir for sunday worship, hhm, still thinking about it.

As the Christmas season draws nearer, we start to reflect on this past year, and especially on our spiritual relationship with God. Christmas had been exploited for many reasons, esp for the economy, but how many actually know the true meaning of Christmas? I'm now being involved in the church choir doing a musical presentation. It's a beautiful story called The Gift of Christmas which depicts God as the Giver of Life and everything else, who gave His son Jesus Christ who was born on this day now celebrated as Christmas. Jesus is the Gift and also the Giver, the Love , the Saviour that came to deliver, the Redeemer of our sins. I pray that in this season, thru the many activities of churches worldwide, that more will come to know this Gift and the Giver of Everlasting Life.

So Tabby and Elma kinda get along now after lotsa fighting. Ultimately, Elma is less jealous now than playful, she just really needs a companion she can wrestle with, while the more demure Tabby just wishes to sleep every hour of the day. Hence, after a tired day, the couple took a nap together.

WOw, yesterday was quite a day....didn't have any time to study at all, thanks to Tabby the Kitty! Ok, so John caught a new Kitty for Shalom (AGAIN?), well, his housemates are all cat lovers. So, he brought the cat to my house to be groomed, kitty was in a mess! there are lice and ants and dirt all over..I just bathed it and dried it and it was a really cute and cool cat! It just let me do whatever and never struggled much. I even caught its lice as many as possible. Then it just went to sleep on my chair.
Later, Aylwin and Nicky came to look at the cat, and immediately fell in love with him! Later we named him TABBY , the cool boy.
Well, upon bringing Tabby back home, Elma wasn't all too pleased. Altho Tabby was cool and quiet, a total opposite of the wreckless Elma, but he took a fancy to sleeping on Elma's bed and eating her food, which really pissed her off! Elma started hissing and scratching and turned on anyone of us who tried to calm her down. Obviously, she felt threatened with this little stranger. I was really scared Elma would run away ad it was raining but she kept running outside, but later in the evening, she was ok. She still kept hissing and scratching at poor TAbby, who kept ignoring her even after been bitten. Well, more photos and updates later and the couple!

There are so many holidays going on at this time of the year. I just came back from Singapore with my sis last week. It was an extremely tiring trip with all the train rides and stuff. But, nevertheless a great experience i guess...I would surely go back with more money next time! With Christmas around the corner, church activities are just getting busier. I've gotten involved with my church choir, doing some Christmas musical. It is really fun, makes me recollect the days when singing for MK in UKM. Talking bout MK,(Malam Krismas), I'm gonna help the guys with the multimedia presentation again. I wonder why no new guys are trained up on this?

Oh yea it's Survivor tonite! I am a maniac fan of this show...some people hate it for the betrayal and back stabbing and stuff, but hey , it's just part of the game. I wouldn't encourage it in real life tho. But, I find this a great show because you'd notice that the one that always win (nearly) will be the honest good guy or gal. Eg, look at Rupert, he's totally direct to everyone about his feelings, and he earned his respects that way. He didn't have to go behind people's backs to plot and all, usually someone else approaches him. That 's cool...

I just started a devotional blog, check it out if you have lotsa time to read and wanna learn more about many topics in Christianity...but be warned it's pretty lengthy. Of course you can just save it for later reading!Ok what's up with my life? AFter being rejected from UCSI for my research, I decided to email back the lecturer and ask for recommendations. He recommended ICOM, which is a pretty prestigious music school, you know, with all the famous composers going there to give talks including DIane Warren and Lee Hom(!!!) . OOh, I manage to get the email and contact of the Head Lecturer there, but I dunno, will this work!?? God help me! I can only pray....

I didn't get to do much today. I went to UKM's library using my old matric card, nobody caught me haha! I manage to buy the photostate card and got some materials. MY housemate, cheah brought me there like my library tour guide, coz I had never really used the library while I studied there last time. anyways, I realised how fantastic and big UKM's library is in contrast to MMU's.
I planned to stay there all day, but I had a headache, and also got really hungry. There was nothing to eat in this time of the month. So, when John called and asked me if I wanna have lunch together, I decided I might as well go back. So, here I am at home with my blog again, I wonder if this would take up all my time!

Ok, it's past midnite, I'm really sleepy, but I just needed to do something bout this blog. Trying to fit everything to my own template. This morning there's communion in church...gotta wake up really really early coz I have class in church tomorrow. My bible teacher is Bro. Mick, he's a 'ah mo', but speaks better mandarin than I do. He's stayed in China for the past 12 years! ANyway, this course is about the books of Moses, the Pentateuch. There are so few people in this class! Apparently, Mick says people tend to think of the Pentateuch as BORING. So, why did I take this course? Well, coz I don't understand the books like NUMBERS very much, but I know every word of GOD has a significant reason and meaning, so I wanna find out what is it. Tomorrow we are going to study on the Chinese characters in Genesis, gonna be interesting! I don't read Chinese, but nevertheless, it's exciting! Well, see u next time!

Oi by the way, the site is under construction! I still got all the other old pages that I have to change. it's tough! anyways, I wanna share that Shalom has got a new kitten! Her name'e Elma, everybody's crazy about her! I'm gonna take a pics tonite to post here, meanwhile let's do a take on house pets. I still think cats are nicer than dogs, Don't get me wrong, I simply LOVE dogs ans pups! But cats are so independent, and CUTEEE. Now, I'm trying to learning about training cats and all, coz Elma likes peeing and doing biz on the couch! YikeS! I made her a litter box, minus the litter :O but she doesn't get it. Made her lotsa stuff even the scratching poll, her bed and toys. she loves playing the thread balls.

Hi people, I'm starting all over again on blogging. I had tried this before, but never gotten far. The reason I'm doing this? I just want to sharpen my writing skills in preparation for more writing in my thesis. Kinda stuck already there. Well, I'll just try this out, you'll find out whether I like this or not later! Tada.
