Independent
film making
is perhaps the hardest career for any free-spirited artist. The business
aspect of it is overwhelming. I managed to survive with my sensibilities
intact because I never stopped believing that it is possible to make
an honest to goodness film that retained its artistic integrity. A
newspaper article once described me as a "mini-mogul." Well,
my budgets may have been minimal, but my dreams were those of a full-fledged
Hollywood mogul. I never gave up my dream and I hope I'll accomplish
it someday, even if takes me well into the 22nd Century.
