Now this movie is the fucking bomb. Better graphics and SFX, a more confusing storyline, and heaps better fight scenes. After I watched this movie, I went back watched it again the next night. And the night after that, and the night after that. Ya know in fact, one fight scene, The Burly Brawl (ya know, when he fights all the Agent Smiths), Neo has more moves than in the entire of the first Matrix. Now I thought running up walls, replacing guys blood streams with lead, destroying perfectly good granite plated pillars, having a carnival ride on an elevator cable, realizing there is no spoon, slowed down the fall of a chopper so trinity can get out, letting Agent Smith get hit by a huge light attached to a lot of metal, getting shot eight times, getting with trinity and finding out he can actually fly if he smoked enough was enough for Neo. (Which is an acronym for the One) But I was shocked that Keanu Reeves can do more in five minutes than he did in the first movie. Is that humanly possible? Fuck man, I want whatever Keanu is on.
Now in fact, if you didn't know, the Matrix had quite a lot of symbolism in it. Well, anyways, The Matrix and The Matrix: Reloaded in fact has practically every frame of the movie filled with symbolism. First of all, as most people would of noticed, and I'm sure you have noticed is in the first matrix is Neo's room number. 101. This is common code for computers. Also 101, in terms of stages/phases, means 6 to computers. As you know that Neo is in the sixth version of The Matrix. Holy shit! That is amazing! Time for lunch? NO! There's more! 101 also means black and white, yes or no is all the computers know. Computers do not see the grey area in common situations. As you would know, this is an ability that human beings possess and have not able to create into a computer or AI. (Artificial Intelligence) Also, when the Neberkeneza (Neo, Trinity and Morpheus) go and speak with Merovingian. (you know the French dude in the huge building) the floor they end up in once they come out of the elevator is floor 101. I wish I could show you screen shots but I haven't been able to get a hold of some. There are other places where "101" shows up. See if ya can find them.
Another interesting thing is the issue between Neo and Agent Smith. In fact, they both represent each other (they're arch enemies they're supposed to be like that!). Either they happen to be brothers or this is just complete irony. I go with Irony 'cuz we know they're not related in anyway possible. HUHUHUHUHUHU. First of all, they both seek power. Only for different purposes. Neo seeks power to take down the army of sentinels and save not only Zion itself but of course the people of Zion the only way to do that is get inside the Matrix and defeat the Army from within. Agent Smith seeks power to destroy Neo permanently and destroy Zion and it's population. The only way he can do that is get inside Zion. To do that, of course, he takes over Bane's body. Also, they both have improved their abilities. Neo can now completely hack the Matrix properly and defy the rules of the Matrix. And get inside and change whatever he wants within the Matrix. And also the best and most important ability that every super hero like Neo should have, created by the leprechauns forged in the ninth circle of hell, the ability to fly! Yes people, he is the man of steel, faster than a speeding bullet, can leap over tall buildings, can see though walls (in fact see everything encoded into the matrix), is it a bird? NO! Is it a plane? NO! It's Neo doing the superman thang! Too bad Agent Smith can't do it. That's probably why he wants to kill Neo. He jealous! HUHUHUHUHUHU....or not. Now to Agent Smith, Smith was originally a virus. Like all agents. Now he has "upgraded" from a simple virus to a worm cluster. Worm viruses do not need to plant themselves into a file to be active which is what the Agents needed to do. Agent Smith doesn't need to no more. He is "free". He now moves around in his own body. But since he is a worm CLUSTER, he can now replicate himself. Which is fucking amazing. He's just like Captain Pollution of the Captain Planet show. He's a disgusting little worm. Only Captain Pollution couldn't replicate himself. Some supervillian he is. Anyways, another interesting fact is, as you know, they have both killed each other and came back to life even stronger. They are the same height. No they're not really, I just thought it would sound good. The only big difference between them is probably how they fight. Agent Smith fights with anger, and Neo fights with a pure heart and with concentration.
Another thing, if you want to know what exactly Neo is, (by the meaning of an Anomaly) Think of 1 whole. divide it by three and then you get 1/3, then you multiply it by three and then you get 1 again, right? But if you put it in it's decimal form, and divide 1 by three, you get 0.33333333.... try to reverse the expression like we did with fractions, we get 0.999999999999...... there is some still missing. This is what Neo is. He is that missing percentage of that whole. Did you think about that?
What about this, I bet you didn't notice this? After I tell you this I know you'll watch it again on video and try pause it on the spot and try to get proof of it. The number plates for the main characters' cars in the highway scene are in fact Biblical references. I bet you're thinking "he's shitting me" well I shit you not. This movie actually refers to biblical references and catholic beliefs as a representation of what happens in this movie, and what the the themes and issues are in the movie. An example of one is Niobe's car. The number plate is "JJ522". Meaning John: 5:22. It states "Nor does the father judge anyone, but he has given all judgement to his son." Another one is Seraph. Now where the hell did they get a name like Seraph is what I was wondering. Giving that I noticed quite a few other things in heaps of frames of the movie I thought "well with a name like that it's gotta mean something" So I looked it up. Seraph is actually the name of an angel in one of the highest choir of angels. A known guardian angel. This is why Neo saw him as a glowing light instead of a normal potentially infected program. Why? Think of this as one of those Virus scanners you put on your computer. Why do you think he knew when to leave when the oracle and Neo met up? "aaahhh now I got it" is what you're thinking right now. There's more of this shit as well, get it out when it comes to video and see what you can find , eh? It's amazing what you can find, Hell you might find something that I didn't catch.

Here's a clue for more interesting things on the movie, quite a few of the obvious ones are during the Merovingian scene.
So overall, I give this movie a whopping 10 out of 10. It's the movie with the most symbolism, created it's own unique style, and got the audience hooked. Even though it may be filled with explosions but there's more to it than you think. It's about people that are half machine hacking a mass computer system, but it still relates a lot to human beings like all movies do. MELI! If you're reading this you can kiss my arse 'cuz Matrix rules and you lose by fact and by majority. HAHAHAHAHA! I think that this soundtrack is probably the best soundtrack I have heard in ages. I'm also comparing this to game soundtracks and I have heard really good ones such as Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. (The Metal Gear Series should be made into Movies by they way) Matrix had the same problem as Metal Gear Solid as the original soundtrack wasn't very satisfying. I am agreeing with what the editorial review had said. The soundtrack for the original sound like they just tried to make the movie more fancy. Don Davis had not tried to make the music correspond to the atmosphere of the scenes too wel.. Either this is his fault maybe being too excited to be writing music for an amazing script or he had not read the script and wasn't given good enough description of the scenes in the movie where they needed the script as this is what is needed to be described for the music composer in order to get a decent soundtrack. (and of course if they haven't read and interpreted the script. So when I watched the original Matrix the million times I had, I never really paid much attention to the soundtrack. Just the great fight scenes, the explosions and how well this movie and the concept of The Matrix related to us human beings. What the movie says about the topic of "Choices and fate" is exactly the way I see it so I related to this concept and adapted to it very quickly. So I paid all my attention to the whole concept of the Movie and paid absolutely no attention to the soundtrack. This is why I did not know Don Davis had written the music for this movie until after watching it for the hundredth time. But when I watched The Matrix:Reloaded in the cinema, I was blown away. Don Davis had really worked on making the songs relate to the movie even more but still keeping the style of music had used in the original so it would be recognized as from the matrix. I then bought the soundtrack to this movie as sson as I had the chance. I still do not have the original matrix soundtrack. I also love how the compilers of other songs for the soundtrack had taken interest to the political band Rage Against The Machine. The songs that RATM had written relate a lot to the views of the Wachowski brothers. The brothers have expressed their view on us as human beings and today's society. The theme for original soundtrack "Wake Up" had expressed their same view. So this song has now been mainly recognized as the Matrix theme song as it is a very old song and then was then reintroduced by The Matrix. The song they used in the second in the sequel "Calm like a bomb" also expressed the views that the sequel had expressed. So as you would notice RATM and the Wachowski brothers would make very good friends. I had been constantly listening to the Matrix:reloaded soundtrack ever since I saw the movie 6 or 7times. I would of watched it more if I hadn't run out of money. (As i have no job and I have barely any money) I had also played Enter the Matrix which also blew me away because of how flexible the Matrix. It made me sort of wish that there really is a Matrix. It uses the same soundtrack as Matrix:Reloaded, and times the music well with the scenes as well. Which is great because you're also founding out new information as in what had happened to the Logos after they had completed the mission to get Neo in the door he needed to go through at the end of the movie. And who Ghost of the Logos has a crush on. Enjoying the same great soundtrack while in a parallel universe to the movie is a great package. So yeah, overall I give this soundtrack 5 out of 5 and another 5 over the top for Don Davis' improvement. Well that must of been a mind blast of info! Time for lunch.
