What is an online journal?

Online journals may be defined very broadly as any journal, magazine, e'zine, webzine, ejournal, newsletter, or type of electronic serial publication that is available over the Internet.

How to use these pages

This site is not meant to take the place of searchable online periodical databases. When performing research you may be best served by searching first in one of our periodical databases, then searching or browsing this site to see whether we provide online access to the full-text of a particular title.

Search Examples

Phrase Search
A search for journal of psycholog will find all titles containing the search phrase:
  Journal of Psychology
  British Journal of Psychology
  Journal of Psychological Measurement
Title Search
A search for journal of education will find all titles that begin with the search phrase:
  Journal of Education
  Journal of Educational Research
but would not retrieve the
  American Journal of Education

Viewing full-text electronic journals

A number of our electronic journals do not originate from their own free-standing WWW site, but rather comprise the full-text holdings of various online databases.

How do I find specific journals in

Please note: It is possible that journal titles and/or dates of inclusion listed are inaccurate. Although we make every effort to maintain the accuracy of our holdings, information accessed through the WWW can change without notice.

NOTE: Some journal articles in each of these lists may only be available in PDF format, a file type that requires Adobe Acrobat Reader software, version 3.0 or higher, to be viewed or printed.
