5.0 Project Team Organization

The structure of the team and the roles of the team members are defined in this section.

 

5.1 Team Structure

Due to the small size of the project team, the team will be organized in an ego – less ( democratic ) structure, where the entire group will make most of the decisions together. Each person will work on multiple tasks throughout the development process in addition to their main role.

Role Definitions :

>> Chai Ee
• Lead ASP Programmer
Chai Ee is the lead ASP programmer in this project where she is responsible for most of the modules in this system.
• Interface Designer
Chai Ee is part of the interface design team.
• Documentation
Chai Ee is responsible for much of the required documentation.
• Additional responsibilities
Chai Ee is also the primary consultant for Hui Bean on web designing and Tong Mei on interface design issues.

>> Hui Bean
• Assistant ASP Programmer
Hui Bean is responsible for the Login, Logout and User Maintenance modules.
• Web Master
Hui Bean is responsible for the designing and maintaining of the project’s web site.
• Interface Designer
Hui Bean is part of the interface design team.
• Documentation
Hui Bean is responsible for much of the required documentation.

>> Hsu Lin
• Assistant ASP Programmer
Hsu Lin is responsible for the Application Processing and Report Generation modules.
• Interface Designer
Hsu Lin is part of the interface design team.
• Documentation
Hsu Lin is responsible for much of the required documentation.

>> Tong Mei
• Assistant ASP Programmer
Tong Mei is responsible for the Approved Loan Management and Month-End Interest Calculation modules.
• Interface Designer
Tong Mei is part of the interface design team.
• Documentation
Tong Mei is responsible for much of the required documentation.

5.2 Management Reporting And Communication

>> Mechanisms For Progress Reporting
Progress is communicated informally via e-mail and ICQ. All files are sent via e-mail to other team members. A test log is kept for error tracking.


>> Mechanisms For Inter / Intra team Communication

Progress meetings are held every Friday for progress reporting among team members. Any questions and problems encountered during the week will be addressed during these meetings. All other communication is done electronically. Most is done via e-mail and also ICQ for real-time communication.

Contacts with other clients are made via e-mail and telephone and in-person meetings are set up when necessary. A beta tester form is used for formal testing by our clients.
