On this site I'm going to teach you how to build your own computer. (For all you computer freaks that are out there like me.) There are many variables you have to think about when you start to build your computer, like how fast you want your processor, what kind of processor you want in it, how much memory you want, and a few others. There are a few processors that you can pick from such as, Pentium 4, Athelon, and a Celeron. They all range from a 1 GHz to a 2.5 GHz in speed.

You also have to think about how much memory you need/want. Lets start with your hard drive. They range from 20GB to 100GB. If you like to have alot of stuff on your computer such as games or software that you use, I would go with the bigger hard drive. A good medium is a 40GB hard drive. That should be plenty of pace for everything you need. As for the RAM, they range from 128K to 512K. The more RAM you have the less time it will take for your computer to load programs or open windows and many other things.

Now for the video card, there are many video cards that are out on the market. They reange from 32MB 3D accelerator to 128MB 3D accelerator. They are either for an AGP or a PCI. Depending on if your motherboard has an AGP slot. As for the sound card, most motherboards have a build in sound cars so you really dont have to worry about that but for the ones don't have an on board sound card, you can buy almost any sound card and it will work.
