We are using the standard 3rd edition character generation rules (pages 103-104 of the core book) with the standard 7 point limit on Flaws. All we ask is that you use common sense in your selection and don't go overboard. New secondary abilities, backgrounds and Merits & Flaws from the Sabbat (pages 88-95) and Camarilla (pages 67-79) books and the Arcane background, only, from the Storytellers Handbook (page 36) will also be allowed. Secondary abilities cost 1/2 normal cost at creation.

-There will be a three character rule-

Players may have a maximum of three characters. Only one character may be an elder or primogen. No two characters may be of the same clan or have ties with each other. The third character must begin as a mortal.

-A word on status-

Keep in mind when making a character with status that the background carries obligations with it. A neonate with any brains in his head would not talk out of turn to an elder, of course, but that's not the end of it. A primogen who does not fullfill his duties does not remain a primogen for long. Everyone answers to someone.

-Extra Freebie Points-

A biography / history of at least three paragraphs will grant the player some extra freebie points to use on the character depending on the detail and length of the story and the age of the character submitted. These points will be awarded through the MST and the updated CS must be resubmitted.

Web pages including pictures and some text will, also, earn some freebie points depending on the work involved in the page (in other words, the more work you put into it the more points you get).

Set SLs will be run on a weekly basis, the days and times given out well in advance.

Logs - logs of side SLs and pertinent RP.

Guest Storytelling: You plan, arrange and run a storyline for the group

"Blue Books" - these are descriptions of what your character is doing when not involved in an major story line. If you cannot make it to a set SL and think your character would be doing something during the story you may write a blue book for experience. Maybe they took a trip to Egypt to research something or meet with elders? Perhaps their sire called them away for some purpose? Whatever it is, you may write up a short story about it and submit it via e-mail to the STs. The depth, detail and length of the blue book will determine the amount of EXP gained.
