Day at the museum

First of all, Jamaicans are wonderful caring people on a island living as one big happy family, even with strangers. Their only thought is one love.

On my, trip we went to the Luddy/Taylor Connecticut Valley Tobacco Museum. Since life in Jamaica was tough, some of the people moved to America for a much easier life. They then started farming, growing crops, and tobacco. Women were also a part of this, but they mostly worked in the kitchen than in the fields. In the museum, I also learned that even though their machines did not seem like much, it still was a big help in a huge job. Many thoughts were running threw my head such as, the way the tobacco smelled, and the way they looked. This experience was exciting and made me think more about Jamaicans.
