Cup Game
With the second team not having a game, which was quite fortunate has they didn't have any players, the first team manager was to be blessed with selecting from a squad of 16 players. Altough just about all had to go out with their name written down on a bit of paper!
More importantly, Glick was to benefit from the advice and guidance of the legendry second team manager Fred!
For the first time in many games, Cartworth actually looked like a football team, playing some excellent football up hill and against the wind. They went in at Half Time 4-0 down!
Just like charlie was going to be, sick as a parrot.
However with the guidance of Fred, and sone devine intervention, the team went out for the second half, and within eight minutes they had got two back. The first a fantastic strike from Miles, the second as commented on by Fred 'What the f*** is he doing, why has he taken it down, Goal!'
After that Cartworth gave up and so did the opposition so Chopper decided to liven up things and bring on Mad AL!
Truly Mad!
At least the result will allow Cartworth to concentrate on the league.
