A7. Extinction Of The Bio-Engineered Aliens
After your hordes overran the Weyland-Yutani research lab, and with Dr. Kadinsky now gone, the human effort to contain the K-Series Aliens has completely fallen apart. They now run free and compete with your Hive for hosts and space.
However, it's the very existence of an aberrant strain that poses the most profound threat to your Aliens.
The K-Series genealogy creates a dangerous possibility that the future of your species will somehow be altered forever by combining with this new human-engineered strain.
Instinctually, your Aliens know the species must stay pure, and this racial anomaly must be eliminated, once and for all time.
Prepare for war. The existence of the bio-engineered K-Series Aliens threatens the intergrity and future of your species. You must kill every single K-Series Alien. You will not get a second chance.
HIVE WAR
Objectives:
* Kill all K-Series Aliens.

* 2 Hive Nodes
Target Time: 45 minutes
This level is extremely hard. Despite your large starting force, the K-Series Aliens will begin hitting you hard as soon as you begin, and killing all the Predators is not an easy task either. As soon as this level starts, they’ll begin to attack you, and Predators and Marines will be here soon too. This is a bad spot, so abandon it. Take your Queen and other Aliens and get out of here. You’re going for the small cave to the south, which you’ll see on the map is occupied by a few Predators. Have your Aliens kill the Predators inside and get your Queen laying Eggs in the middle, so you’ll have Predaliens. Give the Predaliens their upgrade, as it is invaluable. Now outside the cave and to the west are some Oswocs you may want to grab. Remember, you are competing with the K-Series Hive for hosts, so grab what you can.
Try to make Predaliens out of every Predator you beat! Use the Marines in the center as fodder for Warriors. At least in the southern cave you can avoid a beating from the K-Series Aliens for a while. Collect as many Aliens as you can, and if you max out, continue to drag bodies to your Hive to stockpile them. When you’re maxed out, it’s a good time to attack the Predators. Use most of your army, but leave a few behind to defend the Queen.
The Predators are in the eastern cave. It’ll be a hard battle, but if you have enough upgraded Predaliens, or even better, upgraded Cystic Predaliens, it’ll happen. When that’s said and done, you have two choices. You can either move your Queen to this carnage where she can freely lay Eggs around the Predator bodies for more Predaliens, or you can drag the bodies back to your Hive. Personally, I think it’s better to move the Queen here. Defend the Predator bodies with what’s left of your army and move your Queen to the middle of the carnage and get her laying again. This will replenish your Predalien supply and also give you plenty of hosts left over that are safe from the K-Series Aliens’ claws.
Now for the humans. Although you don’t have to kill them, it can make your life easier. You can decide to leave them if you want, as the Marines have been fighting the K-Series Aliens extensively in your old Hive area, and can divert the enemy Aliens’ forces. When you are fully ready and maxed out on Predaliens with mixed in Drones and Warriors, get ready to enter the northern cave, the K-Series Hive.
Luckily for you, most of the Hive is just Hive Nodes, but there are still large amounts of Aliens to kill. You need to kill them all, not just the Queen, and there are enough Praetorians in this Hive to have you killing several Queens. You may want to bring your own Queen along as well, for the upgraded Queen’s ability, and for her sheer power, which could be very helpful. Just make sure you have a Praetorian waiting inside your Hive in case she dies in battle and you need more Aliens. Ignore all the Hive Nodes you come across and just go after the enemy Aliens. Kill the K-Series Queen as soon as you can to slow their production and force them to make a new Queen. Scour this Hive fully and hunt down all the enemy Aliens.
Once their first Queen is dead you may want to start destroying Hive Nodes to cut off their field of vision, but also so you don’t confuse the dots on your map with more Aliens. When the first Queen dies, you will have a lot less resistance from this Hive, and it will get easier. Once you have killed every last enemy Alien, the level is over, and you beat all the Alien campaign levels!
