Originally formed from just two guys (Gaz and Ian) jamming in a house in the summer of 2000, the band became known as 'Sleeze' soonafter and performed heavier covers of bands such as The Beautiful South and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Membership swelled to five members by summer 2001 (Gaz and Ian + James - drums, Anthony - keyboard, JJ - vocals) and had an array of original compositions, some of which were rather hilarious (More Milk and ADSL notably). Luckily Ian and Gaz had discovered In Flames by the years end.

Due to mega squabbling, mis-communication and other factors the band was back down to three by summer 2002 with Ryan taking over drum duty and Ian on vocals and bass with Gaz continuing on guitar.

2003 saw the band return to its original line up of two, leaving Ian and Gaz to concentrate more on their style and become an even heavier band with more emphasis on their Swedish Death Metal influences without completely removing the other elements to their sound. With a more developed sound it was felt that the name 'Metatron' should be adopted.

The pair recorded their first (and last) demo in summer 2003 entitled 'Anyone Can Blame The Authority' which featured crowd favourite 'Aurora' and stand-out track 'Outframil' (pronounced 'out for a meal' in a welsh accent).

Gaz and Ian called time on the project in the autumn of 2004, having taken the band as far as they could.
