Well, with the addition of 1.30, the pistol can now be fired while jogging, giving it a whole new use, it can be used for clearing towns more effectively (as it can be held up while jogging down streets and the such) and when the enemy is out of range for your nades,(its not the most deadly thing but it can fire pretty far)

Save the nades- Well, pistols main use is if , the enemy soldier is right by you and doesn't see you, its a way to conserve grenades , i've had this happened to me 3 times, and each time i've popped the brit/2 frogs full of luger :O)
