The DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish has the ability to provide viewers with incredible flexibility in programming selection. The DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish includes a 4-way external multi-switch allowing you to add up to four (4) DIRECTV receivers for exclusive multi-room viewing. The 18" x 24" DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish is capable of receiving signals from 3 different DIRECTV satellites (101°, 119° and 110°).
Satellite 101° offers access to the base of over 225 channels of DIRECTV programming. These are the same digital-quality channels (and satellite location) you can get with the conventional 18" mini-dish.
Satellite 119° offers access to Para TodosTM programming, ethnic broadcasts, local stations in selected major market areas as well as High Definition (HDTV) broadcasts. The number of HDTV channels on DIRECTV is growing and the future broadcast capabilities are astounding. The 18" x 24" DIRECTV Multi-Satellite Dish is the first piece in building your complete HDTV system. In order to take full advantage of DirecTV's HDTV broadcasts, you will need a High Definition Receiver and a HDTV Ready set. If HDTV is on your mind now, but not in your budget, a DIRECTV Multi-Satellite system is the right choice.
