Notes: No idea where this came from, but it's set in the Bitter Wine universe.

Dangerous

You pack your bag. You take control.

You're moving into my heart and into my soul.

I'd seen you on the streets before. As far as I was concerned you were just one of the multitudes of little rich kids who decide to get out from under the thumb of their rich parents by taking control of their lives... by running away.

But it was more than that. She wasn't just another rich brat; there was something different about her. I could sense in the way she spoke that she really was getting away from something. She'd only been living with me for a few days and already I'd begun to fall in love with her.

Get out of my way! Get out of my sight!

I won't be walking on thin ice to get through the night.

You tried to stop me after my debut and I didn't want to know. I was more than a little rude, but if I hadn't gotten put of there immediately, I would've either killed you or kissed you. Somehow I don't think either would've gone down well with your boyfriend.

Our mutual friends pushed for a truce, but I just couldn't do it. It would've been too hard, trying to pretending that everything was fine and wondering why you left. In addition, I'd have to watch you and him together... I just wouldn't have been able to handle it. Just when I thought we may have been able to work things out, everything changed.

Hey, where's your work? What's your game? I know your business but I don't know your name...

What are you playing at Princess? I thought I knew you, but this isn't something the girl I knew and loved would do. Something’s going on and I need to know what.

Hold on tight, you know she's a little bit dangerous.

She's got what it takes to make ends meet

the eyes of a lover that hit like heat.

You know she's a little bit dangerous.

You turn around, so hot and dry.

You're hiding under a halo, your mouth is alive.

The look in your eyes told me you knew exactly what was going to happen next. For some reason I could sense that you wouldn't fight me... and that you wanted it to happen as much as I did.

It was all right for you - hiding behind your wedding ring, you could easily play the role of the victim, whereas I had to deal with the anger of your husband and family - plus two rather stunned and inquisitive 'sisters.' All that was shown was me kissing you... and you struggling to escape. Nobody else knows that it was all show, that you were kissing me just as hungrily as I was kissing you.

Get out of my way! Get out of my sight!

I'm not attracted to go-go deeper tonight.

You tried to talk to me about what had happened. Once again, I just didn't want to know.. no kissing this time, if I'd stayed around you, I would've physically hurt you. I was just so mad... so angry and bitter at you. I couldn't stand to even look at you, yet I couldn't avoid it either.

That outfit you were wearing... I'd never seen you look so... trashy before. What happened to the elegance, simplicity... now it was all tight pants and tops, low cut shirts and short skirts and knee high boots. It was an amazing look, but I couldn't associate it with you... I thought you looked you belonged on the streets with Mo and Neesya.

Hey, what's your word? What's your game? I know your business but I don't know your name...

I don't even know who you are any more. Teg and Lyd tell me your moods change like the wind nowadays. You always seem to have something up your sleeve. I just can’t believe you’re the same girl I took in off the streets. Every so often, a little bit of that innocence pokes through your callous exterior, but I can't help wondering if the girl I knew and loved ever existed at all.
