The finals (Part 2)

We're the champions !!! Of our division at least ! Another 3-0 sweep, 3 games, 2-0, 8-3, 5-3. Now, it's the Grand Championship, best of 7, starts at the other field, Sunday night !! If we sweep this, we'll win at home, and I'll do the biggest show in the world !!!!!!

Ok, now, I'll tell about the girl !! hehe ! It's this girl I met, about a month ago, on a dating website. We kept talking on MSN and on the phone. She works at the local TicketMaster outlet, she studies in journalism, and she's coaching a cheerleading team ! The reason I'm talking about this is because today, I feel so good, cuz I met her in real life, yesterday, we went and had lunch, together, it was great ! We had so much fun, and I really like where this is going ! But, hey, I won't go too fast and say that I'm in love already, but let's say it's going good so far !! ;)

Oh, and about that job, I had a third interview, Monday, and I'm feeling this ! I should hear about it either tomorrow, or Monday ... Got my fingers crossed !!

The finals

The Division finals have started !! We won the first game 2-0, a great ball game to say the least !! The second one is tonight, but I can't go, cuz I have to be at a stupid soccer meeting !! :( Goddamnit !!

I'm getting a second interview for that job, tomorrow !! :) It's an interview by phone, so it's kinda weird, but then afterwards, it's gonna be a real interview, if they feel me !! So, let's hope for the best !!

Oh, and about this girl I told you about ... well ... I'll tell ya later !! :P

1 team down, 2 to go !!

The baseball team won their first serie. A 3-0 sweep, but it was still hard ! First off, they played yesterday, at the other teams park, for game 2 (it's a best of 5, btw). They played 4 innings, started the 5th, and then the sky just fell down ! It was pouring "like a cow pissing on a flat rock" (Steven Tyler from Aerosmith said that during Woodstock 94, I still use it !!), they stopped the game. So tonight, they were finishing game 2, and playing game 3, at our park. IT WAS SO F*CKING LONG !! It took 1h15 to play the remaining 3 innings, 30 min of break, and they took 2h15 to play game 3 !! You do the math !! 4 hours of baseball, I'm spent ! I got home around 12h30am.

I'm mostly spent, because I got up at 8 this morning. Went to an interview for a new job. Really cool job, and I'm feeling this interview, so ... I got my fingers crossed !!

Oh, btw, did you ever call like the TicketMaster outlet to talk to a girl ? I did tonight !! More on that some other time !! ;)

It's over, ladies and gentlemen ! It's over !!

First things first ! Why didn't I blog this week ? Nothing happened ! Period !!

Now ! IT'S FINALLY OVER !! The soccer finals happened this weekend ! 2 days, 56 matches, 20 referees ! Suprisingly, everything went smoothly ! Only one ref cancelled, every games were played smoothly ... I even got some props to the refs from coaches, I really appreciated it ! It's always nice to know that your staff is doing a good job !!

The only blemish on this perfect weekend of soccer ... I'm f*cking burnt ! Litterally ! My face is crimson red ! As it always is after the finals ! The worst is, this year I said : "I'll bring some sunscreen, so I won't get a sunburn !" Well, I put some sunscreen on my arms and legs, but I forgot my face ... So, now I look like a f*cking lobster !!!! And it hurts like hell !!

The baseball series started today for my team ! So it's back to announcing ! Today's game, we won 4-3 ! Dramatic finish ! A 3 run home-run in the bottom of 6th (we play 7 innings). We play at their park Tuesday, and at ours Wednesday ! The game almost broke a record for the fastest game ever ! 1 hour 25 minutes !! Our record is 1h20 ! So we decided to go play some pool ! We left the place around 2, and came back here to have a beer !! It's 3am now, and my friends just left ! I'm so drunk, right now, I never had so much trouble typing ... ;)

The Big Show

We had a show, last night, with me and my friend. A rap show ! I was so nervous, cuz I had'nt made a show in 2 years ! It went good, but man, those Montreal crowds are the worst !! Unless they don't know you, they won't do squat ! I had 2 rhymes during the show (actually, it was my boy's show, I was there for backup, and to do those 2 rhymes !), and I had to f*ck both of them up ! I was pissed ! Actually, the second one, I just ran out of air, cuz I made a change to the rhyme before the show, and I didn't check if I would have been able to do it on stage. So I ran out of breath, and it f*cked up my flow, and screwed the last two lines !! I was pissed, at that, and at the crowd ! But we did stay to watch the end of the show, and it was nice !! There really is some local talent in Montreal !! That guy who did some reggae near the end of the night was smokin' !!

It's Saturday Night, but it's gon' be boring as hell for me, tonight ! 2 of my boys have family meetings with their girlfriends, some others I can't get a hold of, and others who are broke ! I guess I'll just settle for some movies, at home ... all alone ...

Hung over !!

Boy am I feeling like crap, today ! Went to a meeting last night with the hockey referees ! There's some f*cked up sh*t gon' on there and we met to decide on what action to take ! We had a couple of drinks (well, more than a couple !! hehe), and I got home around 2 am !! I feel like crap !!

The soccer season is gon' be done in just about 3 weeks ! I can't wait ! Those kids are givin' me so much trouble these days ! Had 2 referees who didn't show up in the last 2 weeks ! I've had it ! It's Ripping Time !! (sorry 'bout that ! I'm a Ripping Friends' fan !! hehe)

I needed that !!!

Last night, had a soft ball game with a couple of friends ! Actually, I was only supposed to go watch the game, cuz my friends were playing; it was coaches from the local baseball association playing a little softball, and both my friends are coaches, so they were playing. But they were missing a player, and I filled in ! And since I knew most of the people there, I had a ball (no pun intended :) ).

I made a great catch in the first, I'm still unsure of how I did it, though ! I also hit a nice double on my last at bat ! I surprised myself on how well I played ! 3/5, 3 runs scored, and 1 RBI !! I rule !! :P

Also my ex-girlfriend called me, last night ! She came to the game with me ! She just broke up with her boyfriend from 4 years ! She still hangs out with us once in a while, even though we broke up 6 years ago ! It was just cool to hang out with her and talk. We talked pretty much all night. It was fun ! I needed a night like that !!
