There have been
five captains of the Enterprise
alltogether. The first was Captain Pike;
the third was in the first Star Trek movie;
the fourth was, of course, Captian John Luke Picard, and the fifth was in Star Trek Generations,
but there was only one Captian of the Enterprise and that was none other then Captian Jame T. (Tiberious) Kirk.
Yes, I like John Luke Picard, but he's better suited for Shackesphere then for the Captian.
Did Captain Kirk have an ego? Maybe, but he was the best captain the Enterprise ever had!
And, so, if your ever stuck in traffic or in space, you may hear: "Beam me up Scotty!!"
There's Data, and Jordi, and Worf; there's Diana Troy, Odo and Quirk, and then there's Doctor Cruser, and Doctor Bashir, and many more, but there is only one Spock and Doctor MCoy!! Captain Kirk was the one gave orders, but it was Mr. Spock who LOGICALLY reasoned things out, but, it was Doctor MCcoy who had the most common sense and the bigest heart.
And what about the rest of the crew?

Well, they were also great with the likes of:
Mr. Sula, Mr. Checkof, Nurse Chapel and all the rest,
and the gust stars were equally great.
My favorite, But there was only one crew
of the Enterprise!!!
