In this powerful play, three women experience a roller-coaster ride of emotions as they confront their father's death, long-buried family secrets and the startling revelation of an affair that almost tore their parents' marriage apart.

"She's Not Our Sister" is a comedy/musical stage play that was the highest-rated GMC World Premiere Gospel Play to date. Playwright Johnnie Johnson has creating a highly entertaining play that focuses on three sisters who are all dealing with the loss of their father in very different ways. Things get even more complicated when they find out they have a half sister they never knew about and their father has left them all 4.3 Million dollars to split between them, but there's a catch...the four women must live together under one roof for six months or lose the inheritance.

The play is about family and over coming your differences and when you toss in some drama, humor and few songs of faith you get a very entertaining time. The cast did a terrific including, Kellita Smith (“The Bernie Mac Show”), Drew Sidora (“The Game”), Azur-De (Somebody Help Me 2), Christian Keyes (Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes To Jail), Clifton Powell (Ray), Tony Grant (“Why Did I Get Married” and “A Madea Christmas” stage plays) and Jazsmin Lewis (“Meet the Browns”) but the real stand-out here is Sha McKinney who stars as the man crazy Aunt Connie, Sha provides much of the plays humor and just about steals every scene she is in.

I enjoyed this play much more than I expected, there's only two songs preformed the entire time but they fit the moment perfectly and are very beautiful and send good messages. I suppose that stage plays are a required taste but if they are something you enjoy then I highly recommend checking this one out. Beautiful women, some very touching moments and plenty of laughs makes "She's Not Our Sister" a winner.
