When a talent scout gives her the green light to go on to bigger and better things in New York City, Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) expects an easy bop to the top on Broadway. But the city's charms are clouded by a scheming singer (Cameron Goodman) who will do anything to get ahead.

Now, keep in mind that "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" is a movie for teenagers so most adults are not going to find it as interesting as their young daughters will. Ashley Tisdale's performances as Sharpay in the High School Musical films were usually the high points so if you enjoyed her character then you are going to love the film. Ashley Tisdale takes an otherwise annoying character and she makes her fun to watch. The film is a cute little musical/comedy that relies on Tisdale and the cute puppies in the film to generate most of the comedy and for a made-for Television film it works well. Could they have done a better job providing a better vehicle for the Sharpay character? Sure they could of but you have to keep in mind the target audience here and with that in mind I have to say they did a good job and they created a fun film that had me laughing several times during it. The production is what you would expect from a Disney film like this and the acting in the film was very good, I also liked the chemistry between her and Austin Butler, the two characters are so different yet the blended together very well.

Aimed squarely at the younger set and fan's of the "HSM" franchise, the film is family friendly which is never a bad thing and it makes some some nice clean fun the family can spend some time with together, lots of laughs and some new music makes this an entertaining film. Tisdale also executive produced this High School Musical spinoff that features a furry co-star Sharpay's dog, Boi and four original songs. The film is available on DVD and Blu-ray and each contain Special Features that include:
