NOTORIOUS is the story of Christopher Wallace. Through raw talent and sheer determination, Wallace transforms himself from Brooklyn street hustler (once selling crack to pregnant women) to one of the greatest rappers of all time; THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G. Follow his meteoric rise to fame and his refusal to succumb to expectations - redefining our notion of "The American Dream."

After watching this I got the feeling this was not only a film for fans but that the film-makers were also fans as well. Why I felt that way was the how the film was handle. They could of easily tossed in more drama to create speculation about this or that but instead the delivered with only the facts, the way a film about someone's life should be. Jamal Woolard takes the role of Christopher 'Biggie' Wallace and becomes him, there wasn't a moment during the movie that distracted me me thinking otherwise. Jamal did a great job in his role as an actor. The rest of the cast is just as terrific and most all look very similar to the characters they are playing. Th supporting cast who were big stars in their right like Little Kim and Sean 'Puffy' Combs were just a small smart of the film as this is a movie for all those that loved B.I.G. and his music and what he meant to rap and R&B music in general. It doesn't matter if you like the music genre or because this is a film about the man. I have to say I am not a fan of rap music but I still found myself drawn into his life with all the emotions this film brings with it. All in all it was a good effort, a memorable story worth knowing especially if you want to know more about some of the most critical times in Hip Hop. Plus Biggie fans will undoubtedly love this.
