When a celebrity couple's daughter goes missing, everyone -- including the police -- believes a serial killer is the culprit. The truth, however, is not so cut-and-dried. With no clues or ransom note, detectives must look to old demons for answers.

I was eager to sit down to this thriller as I am a big fan of Gary Daniels knowing this wasn't going to be his usual fare but he is great to see him again anyway. The film is one that demands your attention right from the start so sadly I think some people might become bored with it before getting the end but for those that sit to watch the whole film I think they will find a good mystery here. The story is basic but they way first-time Director,Frank Falco set the mood with the lighting and the twists the turns in the plot makes this an entertaining film. This is British production on a very low budget but the cast and script keep the movie afloat. This is not what I would call a normal thriller, least not a mainstream one but I think that was what it made so enjoyable. You get a mystery that makes you think and keeps you guessing because soon as you think you might have the film figured out another twist is tossed in to throw you off track again. This is by no means a master piece but it is a well-made mystery that will no doubt please fans looking for something different to watch. MTI Video has always brought us these little gems we never heard of before and with Dark Secrets that tradition continues. If you looking for a thriller packed with action look elsewhere as this is a slow moving plot driven mystery that if given the chance pays off in the end. Released by MTI Video. *** 1/2 Out Of *****
