This is long awaited sequel to Digital Playground's first adult film "Pirates". Also let it be noted this is the R rated version released by MTI Video. To some cutting an adult film is defeating the purpose but even the first film was aimed to be more than just the same old adult fare it was also meant to a swashbuckling adventure film laced with humor and cgi effects. The film first was an amazing achievement considering the budget and the original content you are dealing with here but this the sequel takes everything to even another level. There is some soft core nudity but the scenes are cut so the film flows right into the next plot scene. I had a lot of fun watching this and feel the cut scenes allowed the humor to come more to the forefront as well as the action and the cgi. The acting isn't anything that will amaze you but over-all considering who the cast members are I felt most all did a very good job. Belladonna and Jesse Jane and Evan stone are among the adult stars here, they are returning as each was in the first film as well. Over-all I felt the film was better than the first one in all aspects including the over-all production values. Digital Playground set a new standard with its first film and the continue to push the envelope here. If you are a fan of adult fare looking for a film with a little more substance than the usual then I recommend picking this up today. It certainly isn't a classic but it sure was a fun and highly entertaining film. On a side note the film ends leaving it open for another, with more of a budget who knows where they can take it. The DVD comes with extra that include:16:9 Widescreen Format, 5.1 Surround Sound, Visual F/X Making Of Chapter Index, Bloopers, Trailers and Optional Spanish Subtitles. Released by MTI Video. I got see to see this on the Bluray format and I must say it looked incredible with brilliant sound and video. **** Out Of *****
