Shaun The Sheep: Off The Baa!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Genre:Children/Family

Year: 2008

Rating:NR

Shaun is a sheep who doesn't follow the flock - in fact, he leads them into all sorts of scrapes and scraps, turning peace in the valley into mayhem in the meadow. Shaun and his pals run rings around their poor sheepdog Bitzer, as he tries to stop the Farmer finding out what's going on behind his back. Every day brings a new adventure for Shaun.

As you might be able to tell this is from the creators of 'Wallace and Gromit', those involved are award winning and well-deserving of it. Shaun may not be as great was Wallace but it delivers none the less. This is a cute show, one of things I liked about it was that each animal had his or her own personality which is hard to find in a feature film let alone an animated show geared towards children. The DVD comes with 8 adventures, some better than others but all very enjoyable. I for one love this claymation work, it is what helped make Wallace and Gromit so original as well as popular and it works here as well. Children are sure to love this and they will demand multiple viewings, each episode is witty and lovingly put together in a manner that would appeal to both the very young and grown adults. In times when the market is flooded with either horror movies or sex driven comedies it is nice to see some things like this released where the entire family can sit down together and spend some quality time together . If you have children then I highly recommend this as a must own DVD. The episodes include:

Off The Baa!

Timmy in A Tizzy

Buzz Off Bees

Who's The Mummy

Mower Mouth

Fleeced

Shaun Shoots The Sheep

Mountains Out Of Molehills

Also the DVD comes with Special Features that include a 'Meet The Animals' and Video Game Sneak Peeks. Released by Lions Gate Entertainment. ***** Out Of *****
