Fast Food Nation

An Drama Rated R. ensemble piece examining the health risks involved in the fast food industry and its environmental and social consequences as well. Fast Food Nation does what the book did and takes a nonfiction look at problems that worry us all including Illegal immigration, and the caution of eating beef as well as many other topics that seem to be a problem today. I really enjoyed the cast here including Wilmer Valderrama,Greg Kinnear and Ashely Johnson as well as the rest of the ensemble crew all of whom I enjoyed. One word of caution, the film is pretty graphic in parts with animals killings and such so some might get turned off by that. I myself find these kinda movies very interesting and thought-provoking, not saw how I will look at a hamburger again after watching this and thinking what can really be going on around us. I felt one of the few problems with the movie was it's running time, at 116 minutes I felt it was abit too long and could of used maybe 15 minutes less time to keep it moving at a good pace. But besides that I enjoyed this movie, I am sure it isn't for everyone but for those of you that like this sort of film pick it up today it was entertaining and yet had me thinking long after. Released by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. **** Out Of *****
