Well-off Bridget Cardigan (Diane Keaton) faces a big cutback in her standard of living when her husband (Ted Danson) gets sacked. After taking a graveyard shift janitorial job at the Federal Reserve Bank, she conspires with two fellow employees to pilfer old money that's scheduled to be destroyed. Based on a true story and directed by Callie Khouri.

Mad Money may not be the most original of heist films but it certainly is entertaining. The film's plot moves along at a great pace and it has a nice twist at the end as well making it worth waiting to find out if they get away with it or now. The characters are great fun and the cast including Diane Keaton,Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes are all fantastic and have great chemistry together. Ted Danson is also very good as the husband to Keaton's character. I really was engrossed in the story and found the twist at the end to be something I didn't see coming but I sure was happy with it. If you like good comedy or a heist film then you are not going to want to miss this one. Mad Money is a no doubt a "chick flick" but it's also one I think men will enjoy as well for it's light-hearted comedy and it's over-all charm and amazing cast. The DVD comes with Special Features that include:
