Masters of Horror: The Washingtonians
Horror NR. A man finds a letter behind a painting of George Washington that is supposedly written by George Washington. The painting was at the estate of his late Grandmother. The letter discusses eating children and using their bones to make tools for eating, and is later judged authentic by an expert. This is one of those Episodes that got some very bad reviews, but if you take it for it's black comedy and it's crazy story-line then you just might enjoy it. What's a more crazy idea than to have George Washington as a cannibal and people called The Washingtonians that aim to carry on that fine tradition, sounds fun to me. I admit it does have it's flaws and down times during the film but over-all this is nowhere as bad as the reviews make it out to be. If your a fan of the series or looking for something short and sweet to watch this horror film is at least entertaining enough to make most people happy. Released by Anchor Bay Home Entertainment. *** 1/2 Out Of *****
