On the verge of a game-changing business deal, a divorced dad (Robin Williams) and his womanizing best friend and partner (John Travolta) are thrown for a loop when they're tasked with caring for a rambunctious pair of 6-year-old twins.

I was amazed with all the negative reviews going around for this since it certainly has a wonderful cast and it's a Disney flick. I am not sure what people expected here but what you see is what you get from a film such as this. The cast was great, John Travolta and Robin Williams were fantastic together and how can you not love movie that co-stars Seth Green,Matt Dillon and Justin Long? The film itself provides laughs for the kids and a few for us adults along the way as well. It also teaches us a few lessons as well like best friends will always be there for one another another, don't ever promise a child something you can't keep and with Robin William's character you find out that you can indeed be a better more complete person even if you might have doubts. The story is light, kind of a throw back to the old Disney films, a film the family could enjoy together without having to worry about the young ones. Old Dogs isn't a perfect film but I thought is was good fun that doesn't try too hard at being anything mre and the entire cast looked like they had a great time making the film which translates back to the audience. You have to take each film for what it is and this was pretty good for what it offers, the film is worth watching for Travolta and Williams alone, they are fantastic together with their slapstick comedy. The film is also the last film Bernie Mac made and it was great to see him even in a small role, he will certainly be missed. If you are looking for clever plot twists or fancy special effects I would have to say look elsewhere but Old Dogs does offer some life lessons while providing some great laughs along the way everyone can enjoy. Old Dogs is being released as a Disc Widescreen DVD, 3 Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack (Includes DVD + Digital Copy) and a Single Disc Blu-ray with Special Features that include:
