The Place For The Latest Movie Reviews
Cast: Richard L. Rollo, Keone Dent, Angela Joy Rollo, Heather Brinkley
Young adults are missing in Orlando. Gone, vanished, just as they embark on their lives with all their hopes and dreams. The latest to disappear is Todd Blackridge, the only son of a wealthy land developer. Is Todd another victim of a sadistic killer who takes pleasure in tormenting his victims? What would you do if your child has gone missing?
"No Body Found" has it's flaws but that is to be expected when you're dealing with a Indie film but it over comes them with a great story, amazing direction and cast members that give memorable performances. The film doesn't have loads of action but it more than makes up for with it's weighty issues and ideas that forces you to think during the film and long after. The main characters are all well-written and the story shifts nicely between the more brutal scenes and the lighter scenes, it's a perfect mix that keeps you engaged the entire time.
The story may seem a little confusing at first because the two separate parts do not seem at all related but hang in there because it all comes together in the end and you will be rewarded. This is a tough subject matter to tackle and it's something that happens all the time and effects many in real life but the whole idea is done very well and it's a film that leaves a lasting effect. A lot of credit has to go to Richard L. Rollo, Angela Joy Rollo and Angela Lyons for their wonderful direction and let me not forget the amazing writing by Richard L. Rollo who also gives a great performance in the film as well. The cast over-all did a great job but the stand-out performances besides the one from Rollo would have be by Keone Dent and Angela Joy Rollo who were both amazing as well in the film.
In today's world we all worry about our kids when they leave the house and "No Body Found" translates that fear perfectly to film. There's a perfect mix of drama and thrills here, some of the more intense scenes reminded me a bit of the "Saw" movies so be warned this is an adult film but it's intense, suspenseful and captivating.

I highly recommend this to anyone that likes the genre, a terrific first all involved and I cannot wait to see what they come up with next.
