The Place For The Latest Movie Reviews

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Cast: Nick Di Paolo

Genre: Stand-up/Comedy

Year: 2010

Rating: NR

With his new nationally syndicated radio show (The Nick and Artie Show with co-host Artie Lange), as a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show, Opie and Anthony and Comedy Central Roasts, as well as guest hosting on The Dennis Miller Show and Fox Sports Radio, Nick Di Paolo is one of the most popular comedians working today. Twice nominated for an Emmy® (writer, “The Chris Rock Show”), and a co-star on Louis C.K.’s Emmy® nominated FX series “Louie,” Di Paolo’s acerbic and acidic wit is in great demand: ready to hit a Raw Nerve!

Nick Di Paolo: Raw Nerve is raucous and rough, comedic and candid. He goes all out to bring his razor wit, trademark sarcasm and strong political views to this socially relevant, typically reckless standup performance. This is stand-up that takes a stand: full of observational humor guaranteed to entertain and enflame!

You know right from the start of his stand-up act that no one or nothing is safe when Nick Di Paolo takes the stage. Nick delivers humor that is often shocking but it always seems relevant at the same time. If you know Nick already then this is a terrific DVD to own but if you are new to him then I have to warn you that if you're easily offended then this might not be for you and it's certainly not for children at all. I have to admit I was only a little familiar with Nick before watching his stand-up but I am a big fan now. There's nothing He won't attack here and I found myself laughing out loud many times during his hour long gig. Stand-up comedy can be very personal as far as liking or disliking certain brands of humor, for me this is my kind of humor, the in your face kind that has your jaw dropping one second and laughing like hell the next so I likely recommend to those to like their comedy with a bite to check this hilarious stand-up out.
