Rin is a seemingly normal Japanese high school girl, but on her 16th birthday, everything in her life changes when government special forces break into her home. After witnessing her mother’s face blown into bits and her father’s severed head falling into her birthday cake, Rin’s dormant mutant abilities are awakened: her arm transforms into a sharp, knife-encrusted claw, and a moment later, she finds herself standing in a pool of blood, surrounded by dead soldiers! Fleeing and fighting her way though her hometown, she encounters a group of girls who were also born as mutants, and call themselves the Hiruko. A breed of mutants who have existed long before the so-called “Japanese” invaded their homeland and began to persecute them, the girls have different special abilities: one can transform her arms into swords, one can grow tentacles from her fingertips, and one can grow a chainsaw out of her body. The team hone their skills under their demented and powerful leader, Kisaragi, for one purpose: to take revenge on the Japanese who have been persecuting their breed for ages, and to take over Japan and transform it into a land for mutants only! The revenge of the mutant girls will soon begin!

If you have seen any of Sushi Typhoon's films before then you already know what you're in for here. These "Japanese Exploitation" films are so insane that you either love them or you just don't get it. Excuse me but I don't buy the whole "I hated that movie" when it comes to these films because there's nothing to hate and everything to love as long as you know what you're in for.

In "Mutant Girls Squad" a bullied young girl blossoms into womanhood, she discovers she's a mutant with a robot claw. She's then whisked away to a school for mutants who teach her to exact revenge on the mortals who made her life a living hell. That's pretty much all I can say about the plot, it's "X-men on Acid" and to talk about the plot or what happens in the movie would be a total waste of time because no matter what I can say here will never prepare you for the craziness you will witness once the movie starts. I mean besides the lead girl who has the robotic claw you also gets others like a girl that has swords come out of her boobs and another that has a chainsaw come from her butt, yes I do know it's completely insane but that's the fun of all. There's humor, tons of blood spraying from decapitations and much more. It's a visual feast for all gore hounds and fan's of Asian cinema alike.

Production wise this one looks about the best so far but their all cheesy, it's part of their charm. The cast did a terrific job and the effects were all lots of fun and colorful. If you love these movies like I do then you're in for one hell of ride here, I had so much fun watching this I hated to see it end.
